Did you do the video on charging cable wires?

you may want to do a reverse return when connecting the bus bar, to insure even discharge

Did you do the video for the charger or the battery monitor?

Did you have any issues with the regen braking on the RXV? I installed 2 of the BDGR and on a 2 minute run the resistors in the cart were bright red and overheating. Curious if that is just an issue on my cart.

I think I spoke to you before but if not, the regen can be an issue when batts are 100% SOC, this is solved by turning on headlight for 5-10 min to discharge battery pack. Resistors red hot is another matter, lol

I just called big battery and this is the unit they recommend for my bad boy buggy. Was wondering how many miles you get out of this setup

I have a rxv and the BMS keeps shutting off the battery. Does the regen overload the BMS on a 2010 ezgo rxv? What is the work around?

When this happens we will run the headlights

To discharge the battery pack prior to driving

@@DeepcyclebatterystoreSanDiego The 48 to 12 volt converter is not hooked up and no accessories are connected. When the BMS shuts down it completely turns off the battery and it goes into a safety mode that requires the charger to reset it. I’m in the process of replacing the 48 volt solenoid my hope is that it’s faulty and poor internal contacts are not allowing proper voltage across it to the cart controller

@Jason Andrews I’ve been working 16 hour shifts and I installed the Roy pow s51105p it was NOT a drop in replacement I had to modify the battery compartment area slightly. It works pretty good so far I will give it a good test over the weekend. Sorry it took so long to get back to you guys.
