The Cricut Mug Press is crazy easy to use. This is the first mug I made with a traditional mug press ... a utter fail because I didn't press it long enough, because I didn't know I had to. This is the first mug I made with the Cricut Mug Press... it came out flawless. In fact, every mug I've made with the Cricut Mug Press has been perfect so far.
So how does the Cricut Mug Press work? It's SO easy. You just cut out a design with Infusible Ink, wrap your design around an Infusible Ink compatible mug, place the mug in the Cricut Mug Press, and press down on the handle. The mug press takes it from there, setting the temperature and pressure automatically. Five or six minutes later, the Cricut Mug Press beeps and you can take your mug out by the handle. After it cools 15-30 minutes later, unwrap your mug to see the amazing and vibrant color it creates.
The Cricut Mug Press features a safe design -- the plastic housing stays cool to the touch, the handle keeps your fingers away from the heat source -- very important! -- and the auto shutoff provides peace of mind.

I was truly at whatever level is BELOW ground zero when I found your channel. Never considered myself especially crafty but you are a breath of fresh air in a sea of people who may be able to craft but don't quite have the skill or patience to teach at a beginning level. It's Christmas and my sweet husband has gifted me with a Cricut mug press. So I'm back to watching Jennifer's videos. I started watching Jennifer's videos about four years ago when my husband presented me with a Cricut Explorer for my birthday. She is an excellent teacher - very easy to understand - and she started me on a totally new way of doing my card making hobby. Thank you very much, Jennifer. Idk I'm not sold. The fact that you have to use specific products is a total turn off. I'll keep my mug press thanks
think it's more for those who doesn't have it yet and frustrated about all tech and installations with a heat press. Especially if you haven't yet invested in sublimation printers.
As with all things, Jessica, the mug press is not meant for everyone! I don't work for Cricut, so don't know for sure, but assume it's target audience may be people who either don't have room for a large heat press, or just don't want to mess around with one! To each their own! 🥰

This looks so easy to do, and really appreciate you comparing these so I have an idea. I have a large heat press that has the shirt, cap, and mug attachments. Haven't tried it yet, but unless I was going to do a lot of different crafts with it, this would be so much better, and easier.
