There is so much wisdom in Prof Chan. Fully agree with the need for a curious mind and to have a bigger mission outside ourselves. Singapore is blessed to have public servants like you. Thank you.

Amb Chan has the privilege of seeing the winds and waves of change over 16 years, across various administrations. Great questions in this interview! How tough it mustve been to edit this. Keep up the good work!

According to EU's Josep Borrell, Diplomacy is managing double standards. This is what he teachers his team and he was proud to share his "wisdom" with a group of University of Oxford students.

I understand that there was no actual canning. A mock canning only. Michael was sent back to US with warnings not to say anything about it. Unfortunately he couldn’t keep his mouth shut and blabbed about the mock canning. SG govt reminded him that if he broke the agreement, he would be sent back to SG for real canning. That did the trick.
