Ps Litronom I see a place for possibly 2 extra characters. Like Mario Kart Hooting Time I would love to see Toadette and Kamek the Wizard who is a Magikoopa. Those two added in would be so great! ❤

Nintendo and RARE missed out on a huge opportunity back in the day to make a Mario Kart x Diddy Kong Racing remix.
That would've been a dream or even a MK-2 where Link was introduced sooner
It would be sweet if they would throw in some gues characters and guest tracks for the next gen mario kart....along with an interpretation on diddy kongs story mode. Story mode was the best!
Been saying for years they are missing money on a MK X DKR collab. Hell even put some of the characters as DLC in a MK game. I don't even like MK like that but I'd buy that no questions asked.

Man they should've done this for the GameCube instead of Donkey Kong Racing. Although I guess it would've just gotten cancelled too.
The hidden slide from Mario 64 was amazing, almost like this would have been another what if situation if only Nintendo would have thought of this themselves first.
Thanks to mods, we have that ability to see what a Hidden Slide race would have been like.
Sadly, that kind of course would've been too much for the cartridge (I mean, ok, let's assume a moment that Nintendo did that mod back in 1998: Prices for a cartridge able to run it would've been way too much for the game to be succesful or the technology wouldn't be cheap enough for it to run, BUT, if Nintendo decided to go all in with CD, they would've had much bigger games.)
when i was 3 for some reason i really liked mario kart 64 modding. so seeing this as a 20 year old i feel my inner child smile

About half these tracks are just BEGGING for a remake in Mario Kart 8, or at least Mario Kart Wii or 7. The other half already has been. ^^
45:25: The absolute madlad who made this hack actually went to a Super Mario 64 ROM hack, Star Road, for a track idea. :D
Got this on my everdrive64. Such an excellent mod along with the Super Smash Bros. Remix. 2 of the best mods out there. Hopefully battle is added soon.

Only suggestion for the video is to add chapter points so that we can skip through easier to find what we are looking for. But this hack looks amazing! Can't wait to try it out.

Hi Hack Games did you play this on an emulator or modded Snes Mini or is it on a cartridge being played in a n64 console with the expansion pak? I noticed track two has the music slowing down. Is that always how it will be or is it not going to do that if it's on a n64 cartridge being played in a n64 console with expansion pack to be 8MB in memory?
Hi! I played this using the Mupen64 emulator on PC. i think the slowdown is because my cpu is not that good.
@@hackgameslongplaychannel I played it on a cartridge in sn original n64 console and it does the same music slowness in that race.
I've had this hack for a while and it's REALLY GOOD! Besides the DBZ hack it's the one I play the most.

My Childhood has been Hacked! I wish someone would make a Rom Hack of this with My Little Pony Characters and called My Little Pony Kart. A My Little Pony Kart Racer doesn't exist yet.

I have aquired an N64 for the first time and let me tell you, it completely dissappointed me, I remember N64 games from emulation, but when I sat on front of the real thing its image is just awful, all blurry and dark 😖 it doesnt even improve with s video nor rgb because its a software antialiasing thing plus its code inside games as well... i might try emulating on a Wii backwards compatible console to try and enjoy n64 games because in real hardware its just disgusting.
N64 is my favorite console, but it is very blurry and hard to look at these days. In 1996 it was mind blowing to look at. N64 games are definitely best when emulated
