I'm a Samsung girl forever!! I don’t like Apple(I think they rip off their customers with having to buy everything separately and so much more) and I personally feel Samsung/Android is more user friendly and I like their ecosystem a whole lot better than Apple. But that's just my opinions!!

*to settle the debate:* both of them are more than enough, get the - iPad if you have an iPhone, or the galaxy if you have a Samsung. in the end both have different use cases.
however the iPad does have the better processor and screen resolution (great for graphic design, etc.) , but the galaxy has more customisability. pick whatever you prefer, but no need to bash a product to uphold another :)

I am completely a Samsung person, s24 ultra, galaxy watch and their buds, but I use an Ipad for drawing.... Idk what it is, but I love ipad.
I'm considering doing this but I'm just not sure if I can stomach the Apple ecosystem. It plays so dreadfully with everything else, the anti-consumer policies are crazy. I'd be concerned about not being able to get certain apps because they aren't on iOS or wanting to do something else with the tablet at some point and being stuck in Apple's system. At least an Android is free to do whatever with every other company's offerings.
@ElusiveTy That worried me too, but I guess it comes down to what you use the tablet for. I only draw, have a reading journal, make some documents and watch CZcams. 🤣 So for what I need, it's perfect. The interface does take some getting used to coming from Samsung for sure. Procreate is just the best in my opinion. I have tried so many other drawing apps and nothing tops it for me.

Whatever works for you, my sister is the same btw! Has Samsung phone and smartwatch, but uses an iPad air M1. I use a Galaxy tab s7 to draw, have been using it professionally for 2 years already with CSP, never had a problem with it. The S pen is amazing (and included with the purchase), doesn't need to be charged, the pressure sensitivity, at least in my perception, is basically the same as the apple pencil. Plus, the fact that the nib is not completely hard, it's way more comfortable to draw, there's basically no noise (bc the nib absorbs a bit of the impact). The apple pencil is like an actual pencil on glass. My sister had to get a paperlike screen protector, and I use none.
I think it's the form factor.
iPads look more like A4 sheets not upscaled phones like other Android tablets do. And that's why it could give a better sensation at drawing.
I have a Xiaomi which is shorter than a Galaxy but not as wide as an iPad.
And works for me.

It’s just personal preference. I would get an iPad because I have a bunch of Apple stuff and it works good together, but Samsung makes some damn good hardware.

It's more of a preference rather than performance. Depends on your needs and love for the brands.
The Galaxy are the best tablets for being a tablet.
The iPad are trying to be laptops but are extremely limited with a mobile OS.
There's NO EXCUSE to not turn them into 2 in 1 devices like the Microsoft Surface Pro's.
I have had samsung all the time in my childhood even today! Samsung is much better than iphone and ipad, becase when i had my samsung phone ( dont remember the modle ) i seriously had it in many many years. And i guess that an iphone cant be in thst many years as mine. I was 8 when i had that phone so 8 to 14..... Im serious. Samaung is just better. It makes no sense but samsung is just better ❤️✌🏻

Honestly at this point the continuity and ecosystem flow between devices for both Samsung and Apple is so advanced and similar now that it’s really in your best interest to just get the device that fits into whatever ecosystem you have. The only reason to pick a different one is for a super specific function that might not be available on your ecosystem’s model.

I’m more of an Apple girly so that being said I love my iPad. But that is why there are other types of tablets for people that don’t like iPads whether it’s the price or the device it self. I just don’t know why we can’t all get along and to each their own. It’s nice to see you enjoy both.

Well that's because older products in general last longer. But if you buy a new one they fall apart much quicker. My first ever Macbook lasted me so long, and then when I upgraded a few years ago, the keyboard was falling apart in less than a year. Products aren't built to last anymore, regardless of who you buy it from. But if it's any consolation, my gaming PC laptop is working just like new 4 years after buying it, plus it's upgradeable so I can keep it modern if I wanted to!

@@mic3443 i have dropped my iPad several times on hard tile. It only got a couple chips, and the screen has never been broken, and I’ve had it for 7 years.

@@Lospereztravelvlogs even though i like samsung tab since they offer more affordable prices in tabs i can say that the m2 ipad air which starts at $599 is better than the samsung tab which starts at $990 at perfomance and overall gaming.
i think performance goes to ipad, but the only ipad i have is from 2018 so this is just from what i heard

I think people can just like what they like and it really shouldn't matter so long as it works for the people using it. But I'm most certainly not gonna sing the praises of a brand that generally I've never liked in terms of it's user interface and it's expensive and entirely accessories. If apple works for people then that's great. It doesn't work for me and I'm happy with my samsung tablet.

Honestly I am using iPad from 2020 and I am kinda bored of this iOS. I was an Apple fan and I was planning to buy the iPad Air, but not now anymore the iPadOS 18 is not a good software update and I am bored with it. The samsung dex is way more better than iPad’s stage manager I’ve used Samsung dex on a Galaxy S9 via connecting it to a tv and i really liked it. So yeah I’ll buy the S9 when the S10 is launched and the price goes down during Sales on E commerce websites 🎉
