dont assume his instructions will apply to your epoxy unless it's the same and in which case you must determine if concrete has ever been sealed before doing this with rustoleum. If it has you must use primer. To-determine is simple, toss water on floor and if it beats up there's sealer on it. Wanna make sure it's dry enough to apply epoxy? Tape a peace of plastic and let dry for 24hrs and If there's condensation wait. If still having problems you need to do further steps. Those asking why no etch or primer, Im not sure but the instructions specifically for this kind of epoxy outline when and when not to use primer or etch. I wold set timer for 3 minutes and mix. Looks great and thanks for sharing your experience.
It's why people put down carpet, flooring, tile... less/ no prep...but a bigger expense.

From my experience. Maybe a very light grey or an off white with lavender undertones (this goes with everything I own from burgundy/ red, blues, peach). Was able to use it with all 3 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms with different dominant base color. 👍🏻👍🏻
Previous had peach undertones in LR/ DR, looked dirt after getting burgundy leather sofa/ love seat.
Looks nice, Joey. You might consider removing the sag from that sewage pipe on the wall. If that is downstream from your kitchen sink, grease will build up there and eventually clog. Cheers!

I think that the patches are showing because they were lighter then the floor. Maybe a primer step would have avoided that. I'll be looking to do this in my basement this year, I like the chip look.

If you paint the walls, have you considered using flex seal liquid on the concrete? We just ordered some for our basement walls. Haven't tried it yet!

Well the only drawback is that the filler spots show wondering if they were done first with epoxy first so when done the spots would have 2 coats ?

Floor looks great, but couldn’t you have primed your floor before adding the epoxy to avoid seeing patching on the floor??? I’m in the process of redoing my basement that’s why I ask.

I thought it was illegal to have your sump pump dump into city sewage?
Depends on the city. We own a house in a college town and it’s mandatory to run the basement sump into the sewer. This causes sewer backup in parts of the town due to the volume of water during big storms. Stupidest code I’ve ever heard of. This is why occasionally the basement I’m looking to epoxy get water backup in the sump pump side. Also the old terra cotta sewer pipes can’t handle the volume as well!
You said you don't get water? There is an inch gap between your slab and your wall!

I would never buy a house with a concrete block foundation as in the future it is more likely to leak than a properly poured concrete foundation.
