Fun hack, if you “over toast” your bread, you can totally use a knife and gently scrape the brunt parts off. Do it for my kids grilled cheese all the time. And my own toast on occasion.
My mom did that for us growing up. In our case I think it was more of a " We are on a Very limited Food Budget and can't afford to waste perfectly good bread"

White eggs are more common in the states. I didn’t realize brown eggs were more common over there. I personally buy brown eggs but they can be hard to find during certain times of the year

I wonder if you made several layers of the croissant dough and cut a hole in the middle, then did the last couple layers without the hole if you would get better cooking in the middle and a place for some filling.

Just do a registry office. Then do a party in chunks as you feel like it and as the whim takes you. Who say all the wedding has to be on the same day? Legal day. A bring and share meal day. A dance day. A garden party day. Second hand costume party day. etc. all in different places to catch different groups of people and their schedules. Keep the fuss level low. Do whatever you fancy. But it doesn’t have to be a mega production or all at once.

I have a deeper toaster from my parents from Christmas and I use rubber ended tongues. However, I warm a Bernie 😅😅. It’s for my sourdough etc. My old toaster never really toasted evenly
I have one of the jar openers. It works OK on some jars but don't try it on Doritos dip jars. The vacuum on these is so strong, the opener jammed. My son eventually got it off but it doesn't work very well now - the gears have been stripped. Shame really as it could have been useful for people (like me) with dexterity issues. The motor is underpowered and the gears not up to the job. In other words, people, don't waste your money.
Another good tip for a stuck lid off a jar boiling water from the kettle over the lid as heat expands the metal make sure you hold the jar on the other end to save burning yer fingers 😂

The thing to open the jars was designed for people with mobility issues/disabilities. It works brilliantly especially when youncant do it manually
