Spain vs Italy C tier? it was the best football display of the whole Euro! Spain played some of the best football I've ever seen. They dominated the Italians like if they weren't ever there.
As a spaniard, but from a neutral POV it isn't very entertaining if one team dominates THAT much another. The audience wants to see quality matches that goes from side to side continously.

If you like football it was amazing. Though I get most people just prefer the thrills. Still, the tight score keep the match anyones game and never felt like a done deal to me. it's not like they were 4-0 during the halftime.
I think that was the biggest issue in this match. Italy should've and could've put up more of a fight, and in match where Spain clearly dominated, they easily could've been better on the attacking end. When you have 5 or 6 great chances to score, and you only get a goal from a pretty lucky own goal, it makes it frustrating to watch as a viewer. Great game from Spain though!
C tier at best in my opinion. For an entertaining football match it's always better if both teams perform well but this one was too one sided in Spains favor.

Rating the countries makes no sense. E.g. Scotland: You rank it as 5th, but they got a high ranking because they lost 5:1 to Germany and the entertaining factor was the German team not the Scots. Same for the 3:0 in the Croatia-Spain game. It was Spain how created the excitement.

Don't agree at all. Spain-Italy, Spain-Georgia and Germany-Scotland were quite entertaining for the way they dominated the game. They played beautiful football and had great chances over and over again. You don't need excitement in the result if what you are witnessing live on the pitch is great football. I don't agree either that they'd deserve S tier, but these 3 matches demonstrated just how much better Spain and Germany could play than anybody else, and that's always entertaining
Austria vs Turkey B tier??? That was the best game in the tournament. Turkey put up such a good performance and the last 20 minutes were so intense. It was a deffensive masterclass, not to mention the beatiful first half where both of the sides played like they wanted to win at any cost. turkish fans are goated? this has to be a joke. turkish playsers where whistling and booing all of their opponents nonstop without any respect and in an intensity that i never heard in any other game. also before the game turkish fans litterally made loud noises infront of the austrian teams hotel the entire night so they could not get any sleep before the match, and in the morning throwing rocks and coins at the players to injure them. plus as someone living here i experienced the disrespectful behavior of turkish fans personally. really the fanbase with the least amount of sportsmanship so everybody was happy when they got thrown out.

I don't think at all like you, in the Netherlands-Turkey match it was Turkey who deserved the victory. All the fouls and the red card which was not even put in the VAR, the penalty not counted, in short it was all chaos. Turkey fully deserved this victory with all the efforts put in at the end.
As a German I know Germany vs Spain was an S tier match but another referee would have been better (Anthony Taylor destroyed the entertainment in my opinion bc he made unfair decisions on both sides and the not given penalty for Germany still makes me angry)
Solid list. In my opinion, I would have put Croatia vs. Italy at A Tier. It was dramatic from start to finish, and both teams were playing their hearts out. As a Croatian supporter, the end was heartbreaking, but I can't deny it was a good game.

as a supporter of the national team of Ukraine, I want to make my review precisely on how the author evaluated the matches with the participation of Ukraine. I'm very surprised to see the game against Belgium in D-tier, because for me it was the most conscious and tactically interesting game in group E, even without goals, but this match in our group was the one with the least number of mistakes from the teams from the two sides with the maximum level of play at which Ukraine and, surprisingly, Belgium are now capable of. But the match between Romania and Ukraine against Ukraine is very strange to see even in B-tier, a match in which there were 2 very successful (lucky) shots and 1 tactically competent goal, it is quite strange to see exactly such an assessment from the author of the video. This opinion is subjective and does not pretend to be objective, but I think there is a grain of truth in my words
P.S. Now that I have finished watching the video, I want to add some thoughts. To me, it seems like the author overrates matches with more goals. In my opinion, Spain-Germany was the true final, but other matches from the A and S tiers are definitely not better than some matches from the B or C tiers. I believe the most interesting aspect is the tactics that teams show us, rather than how many goals were scored
As a Belgian, our matches were disgustingly bad, due to defensive slow and boring play, banking on talent for 1 sudden chance to score a winning goal. At no moment in any match was there ever a sense of urgency to wake up, increase tempo and go for the win. There were so many lesser fifa ranked teams who absolutely played their hearts out, to make their country proud. Forgettable tournament for Belgium, truly ashamed.

i think Romania - Ukraine 3-0 was better than Netherlands - Romania 3-0, in the first match Ukraine started very well, Romania scored ine of the best goals of the euro and had another banger. In Romania vs Netherlands, Romania made 2 mistakes that cost them the goals and some controversy with yellow cards and a big fault. Netherlands was simply the better side, but the match wasn't that entertaining like the first one.
It didn't come close to living up to the expectations before the game. Both teams were struggling in the tournament and this was their chance to step it up, yet all we got were plenty of missed chances from both sides, a French team that refused to score and a game that went to a penalty shootout. Each to their own, but this game should've produced more.
I agree with almost all Englands matches being in the lower tiers. I feel like both games from Turkey in the knockouts should have been atleast a tier though, to me personally those were probably the most fun to watch
Serbia were dominant against Slovenia? Bad take, thats what you get from only looking at stats and highlights. I was at that game and Serbia were lifeless all game and only started playing when they conceded. Slovenia was the better side for the majority of the match, but serbia managed to come back in the final 10-15 minutes to get the draw.

I found the match between Georgia and Turkey the most entertaining one but that might be the case because as a German I was neutral. Being neutral makes me enjoy matches more than when I am supporting one side. Spain vs. Italy felt very underwhelming because it was so one sided and Italy was very far away from performing like you expect them to. I am now in my 50s and I never saw Italy performing that poorly. I also enjoyed Germany vs. Spain but the endless and useless discussions about Cucurellas handball took away much of the excitement about the game. With the controversial penatly against Denmark and others in mind I feel like with the current penalty rules we now have more discussions about that than before. It takes away a lot of excitement for me. Current penalty rules therefore are tier F in my opinion.

@Fiucha8893 england scored some of the goals of the tournament and had some of the best moments. Portugal looked terrible in every game, failed to score in their last 3 games, and all 5 of their goals (EVERY SINGLE ONE), came from defensive errors since they showed no attacking quality whatsoever

as a supporter of the national team of Ukraine, I want to make my review precisely on how the author evaluated the matches with the participation of Ukraine. I'm very surprised to see the game against Belgium in D-tier, because for me it was the most conscious and tactically interesting game in group E, even without goals, but this match in our group was the one with the least number of mistakes from the teams from the two sides with the maximum level of play at which Ukraine and, surprisingly, Belgium are now capable of. But the match between Romania and Ukraine against Ukraine is very strange to see even in B-tier, a match in which there were 2 very successful (lucky) shots and 1 tactically competent goal, it is quite strange to see exactly such an assessment from the author of the video. This opinion is subjective and does not pretend to be objective, but I think there is a grain of truth in my words
P.S. Now that I have finished watching the video, I want to add some thoughts. To me, it seems like the author overrates matches with more goals. In my opinion, Spain-Germany was the true final, but other matches from the A and S tiers are definitely not better than some matches from the B or C tiers. I believe the most interesting aspect is the tactics that teams show us, rather than how many goals were scored

As a Belgian, our matches were disgustingly bad, due to defensive slow and boring play, banking on talent for 1 sudden chance to score a winning goal.
At no moment in any match was there ever a sense of urgency to wake up, increase tempo and go for the win.
There were so many lesser fifa ranked teams who absolutely played their hearts out, to make their country proud.

i think Romania - Ukraine 3-0 was better than Netherlands - Romania 3-0, in the first match Ukraine started very well, Romania scored ine of the best goals of the euro and had another banger. In Romania vs Netherlands, Romania made 2 mistakes that cost them the goals and some controversy with yellow cards and a big fault. Netherlands was simply the better side, but the match wasn't that entertaining like the first one.

It didn't come close to living up to the expectations before the game. Both teams were struggling in the tournament and this was their chance to step it up, yet all we got were plenty of missed chances from both sides, a French team that refused to score and a game that went to a penalty shootout. Each to their own, but this game should've produced more.

Serbia were dominant against Slovenia? Bad take, thats what you get from only looking at stats and highlights. I was at that game and Serbia were lifeless all game and only started playing when they conceded. Slovenia was the better side for the majority of the match, but serbia managed to come back in the final 10-15 minutes to get the draw.

I found the match between Georgia and Turkey the most entertaining one but that might be the case because as a German I was neutral. Being neutral makes me enjoy matches more than when I am supporting one side. Spain vs. Italy felt very underwhelming because it was so one sided and Italy was very far away from performing like you expect them to. I am now in my 50s and I never saw Italy performing that poorly. I also enjoyed Germany vs. Spain but the endless and useless discussions about Cucurellas handball took away much of the excitement about the game. With the controversial penatly against Denmark and others in mind I feel like with the current penalty rules we now have more discussions about that than before. It takes away a lot of excitement for me. Current penalty rules therefore are tier F in my opinion.
