This Swiss team is really impressive in many ways. A bunch of elite players like Josi, Hishier, Fiala + some great players like Niederreiter, Kukan, Andrighetto, Genoni, Siegenthaler, Bertschy, Scherwey + they play a really fast hockey + look devastating in Powerplay. They will definitely go for a medal this year.

Josi is such an amazing defender with offensive instincts. Really a pleasure to watch him playing. He is certainly offensively better than most of the forwards from weaker teams.
He is pretty much better offensively than any forward on any team. I don't think any player in this tournament has had more points than him in the NHL this season. And I don't think any player except Karlsson and Gadreau has ever bested his career high in the NHL either. And those two have fallen of big time lately.
@@benchervet494 let's see if Draisaitl or Pastrnak will join in if their teams will lose in the playoff series. Rantanen could also join for Finland after losing to Dallas.

My Power ranking after have seen all the team in action a few times :
1) Sweden -> so so complete + elite blueliners
2) Canada -> this is Canada, never in doubt for me
3) Switzerland -> best first line of the tournament (Fiala, Hischier, Niederreiter, Glauser and Josi !) + PP
4) Czech Republic -> home advantage + good NHLers
5) USA -> really skilled side with many talents (a bit too naive maybe)
6) Finland -> Not impressed by them but they will be surely better soon...
7) Germany/Slovakia
I'm not sure between Canada, Sweden and USA, which top the list, in my opinion. USA seems better than both Switzerland and Czech Republic.

Dude that was a no contest. The Swiss look very strong. We lost to them in a stupid skill competition, but their team is legit. Definite medal contenders. Can't exactly see them get past Sweden, but silver medals are highly probable.

@@JTM1809 100% Agreed. On top of that, Sweden has beat Switzerland every time they faced off for a medal, I believe. It's just something mental, I think. I of course wish for gold, but in all genuinety, I wouldn't be shocked if the choke in QF again and drop out early like last year :(

I don't want to take anything away from Switzerland. They have a great team and i honestly hope they'll go the distance, but god damn were we(Denmark) poor. That is the most unfocused, lazy and unengaged performance i've seen in a long time. Without our NHL players we aren't the team we all think we are.
