Just to be clear. These are all the tips, you don't have to use them all...unless you get stuck on a desert island or something. In which case, they are good to know.
Thank you so much for the great tips on saving power for my phone. I recently switched from one plus phone to a Samsung and I got to admit my old phone was a power sipping beast. But my Samsung was not so great at power savings and I was trying all kinds of ways to make it last longer but no avail, thanks to you now I can enjoy my new phone for years to come. Thank you
Hi can you tell me where you got your batman wallpaper from?
The whole Bluetooth could've been turn off.
Okay
Thanks. But how may I save these settings for every subsequent phone I buy.
If I want to turn off everything why I have to spend $2,000 to buy this phone
I think another great battery saving tip is Background Usage Limits. Settings > Battery & Device Care > Battery > Background usage limits. Then you can select which apps use data and wifi in the background and how frequently. This saves a ton of battery as fewer apps pinging for data thus using less network and power.
Exactly! This one is missing in the video and I also noticed a dramatic improve of battery life once I disallowed apps that show up with high battery usage from running in the background!
Yeah i think this is what made my previous phone's battery life durable
I'd love to see a power usage comparison video after enabling all of these 🙏🏽
followed 80% of the steps and manage to safe about 20-25%
Nice 👌
Now hear me out I didn't have to do any of these things at all and my battery lasts 2 to 3 days no charge. I have S22 ultra 120 refresh rate hd on. Here is the trick and spread the word. Turn off fast charging and put all your apps in deep sleep. Bring only the very main apps you use like phone and messages to not sleep category. Restart phone and enjoy. Like I said spread the word please.
Genius! I knew that but I never actually thought about using but I'll definitely do that now.
You can also turn off the phone
Turn it off? I have kids need my phone on 24 hours sorry but it was a good thought. Plus the real commutacative job having people might need their phones on also.
Fastcharging doesnt drain the battery..
@@annekedebruyn7797 but it reduces the battery life.
So,if you're charging your phone at night, it is more convenient to have it in normal charging.
I’m now experiencing extra battery life after a long struggle✌️ thanks my guy
changing screen resolution to 720p is absurd, the same as disabling adaptive refresh rate
a lot of these are really pedantic and miniscule. Basically a complete lack of understanding on why people get phones like this.
You are right. Resolution make almost no difference. No real savings here. Dark theme vs light theme gives you 20 to 30%! 720p vs 1440p maybe 1%.
I leave mine on adaptive because it's not always using 120 Hz, That's what I call an adaptive. And if you're going to start shutting everything off on your battery then why did you buy a $1,400 phone. It makes no sense
@@willsrestorations you guys are missing the point... you can have all the settings cranked up to max performance for day to day use, but what if you are going on a 15 hour plane where your phone is your only source of entertainment? You want to minmax its battery life, thats what this vid is for
@@schmoopy5083 are you kidding guy, what plane have you been on that doesn't have a USB charger for your devices. What are you flying third world India airlines
That's the best tips video for S22 Ultra so far. The only problem I am having with it is the battery life.
Depending on what you do, adaptive refresh rate can save you significant amounts of battery life over 60 hz. If you do lots of gaming, then having it be set to 60 hz is likely better, but if you read a lot of emails or ebooks and such, the adaptive refresh rate will save significant amounts of battery. And even for the gaming bit, a number of games let you limit the frames per second, allowing your adaptive refresh rate to be set to that as well. While with the 60 hz it will lock itself to 60 hz no matter what.
How about FB, insta, tiktok? Should I keep adaptive refresh rate if I use those apps mostly?
@@AnhPham-nu3kh yeah because it's adaptive so it will be only moving between 1 and 120hz while scrolling or sitting or typing or reading or watching. It will still be helpful
Why then, power savings button switch adaptive refresh rate off? 🤔
Ive watched many vids on the Ultra 22,and this one was the best! Thank you very much for teaching me about my VERY EXPENSIVE phone.
Thank you! Exactly what I was looking for
Thanks very much! I utilized most of these. There were a couple I left due to my own preferences. Every time I think I have my phone set specifically the way I want, it seems to be endless tweaks to improve things. But I enjoy that as it makes my phone more unique to me.
5:55
That's not how screen resolution works. You're still lighting up the same amount of pixels, the battery benefit comes from the phone saving on processing more pixels.
Exactly
I did them all and my battery life went way up! Thanks!
Let's say if you start from 8am, around 6pm, how many % left?
@@ThiHaGadgets Hello there, im someone how has used only about 30% of the tips showing on this video, i get out for work at 7:45 and get back home at around 19:00. I do use a lot of whapp becouse of my work, the other app just normal use, and i dont have wifi at work so my phone is always on 4G, and i get back home with about 30-35% of battery....now im curios to see how the other tips will increase my battery life
@@andizela1272 Hi, I see. I switched from s22u to iPhone due to the battery life. Thanks for sharing.
So why didn't you just t but the a54 and save 1000$?
Nice to strike a balance between battery saving tips and functionality. I skipped a couple but most were tremendously helpful! Thanks for the video and tips!
Hey friend, this saves me 50% of battery, tested few days ! Thank you for your time spend to made this video.
This also works for the Galaxy s22/s22+ and people complain about the s22 battery life a ton but with these tips I’ve had at least 1/3 more battery life than before and didn’t even use all of the tips. Like from 8am till 12pm I still have like 30% battery life left, so much garbage and features that are automatically on when you get the phone and don’t even use/realize they’re on. Always do this with every android. No need for all these features to be on when you’re never using them. My new Galaxy s22 battery life outlasts my iPhone 11 pro’s battery by miles.
What is the battery life you are getting with S22 for average usage?
Great step by step instruction!
Followed most of them u told....it is great experience now ... using one ui 4.1 ...u r a life saver 👍👍👍
Ty for sharing your knowledge 🙏
great tips did most of them Thanx! subscribed
Excellent Job! thank you! very helpful!
Very good video! One of the best I've seen on power saving tips! Not sure why Samsung burries some of the most useful features, yet, great that the customization is there nonetheless.
10:00 a feature like this is so that the app knows when you're arriving home, and can automatically turn on the light. Or turn it off if you leave. It may also be able to work via knowing when you are connected to the wifi network in your home.
You're the man! Appreciate your efforts.
Amazing !!!!!!!!!!!! I'm looking for this video for a long time, thanks
Thanks so much!
You have worked hard on this many thanks, 👍
Great tips, thank you!
My battery life was already good but has significantly improved after applying 23 of the 25 tips. I suspect for a lot of professional phone reviewers, they use the phone at full throttle run them through tough tests and then say the battery life on the Ultra 22 is crappy. I bet if they used all of these battery saving tips in this video they would sing a different tune.
Great video, thanks
Nice video. Most of the tips worked on my S24 as well 👍
Thank you. Most of the tips are helpful, but some I chose not to do, like display resolution and motion smoothness. I bought this phone for the best resolution and smoothness. Would not make sense for me to set it to lower quality. But the other tips are indeed very helpful, like those wifi and bt settings. Thank you. Keep up the good work. We appreciate you 👍🏻
Thank you for this video.
Thanks for the in depth battery saver tips....battery life in the S22U isn't great..hope these help
This is great stuff. I used about 95% of these suggestions.
awesome vid mate!
Obrigada pelas dicas, foram super úteis.
Bro i watched your video down to the last second and subscribed. Appreciate your effort. ✌
You forgot one really, really good tip which is also under battery and then more battery settings.
You can set apps manually who aren't allowed to run in the background at all or which ones are allowed sometimes.
The phones almost always puts most apps under "allowed sometimes" or "allowed always" even tho 90% of the non-social media or health tracker apps have no business in running in the background.
Thanks for your video
Not the generic stuff. Amazing tips.
Great tips bro!
the best video!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so many new unknown stuff😁😁😁
Thanks a lot mate!
Wow thankyou for this ! Ive got a s21plus (exynos because im in uk) and its a realy good phone but its always not been amazing on battery life but using your methods im getting much better battery life now im getting around 7-8 hours screen on time ! Thanks man !
great content bro learned a lot, will have more juice on my s22 ultra
Hi, found these tips most helpful....so many thanks. Cheers from Australia.
That’s awesome! Thanks John
Thanks a lot for this wonderful video 👍👍👍👍👍
You are welcome
You sir are a legend. I have this Phone and followed your tips. Thank so much
Watching from Italy and i must say very informative and great video thanks 😎

Excellent!!!
Thanks. Many tips i did not know about.
Outstanding guide !
Thanks 👍
Awesome knowledge sharing ☺️
God bless you...
Thumbs up and subscribed
Knowing my phone is not going die on me anytime soon gives me the warm and fuzzies. Cheers bruv
Thanks for this, music share is a first. And thanks for the time stamps
Watching from Turkey, and I really liked the video. I didnt know half of these tips
Great tips most of them i was already using. I Don't reduce the motion smoothness and screen resolution as those are one of the main features of the phone. But when i want to save power i turn on power saving mode which automatically turns off all the battery draining features. FROM DOHA QATAR 🇶🇦
اخي هل تنصحني ان اشتري s22 ultra وهل البطارية تدوم طويلاً ؟
Thanks a lot ❤️❤️
It's funny how they will accuse the S22 Ultra or Plus of having bad battery when all of these settings are on by default. I would like to see another battery test after using all of these recommendations. My battery life has improved by at least 40% after using most of these tips.
Very Good and helpful
you made a awesome VIDEO 🌟
You are the best! Now I have a Motorola V3 instead a S21 Ultra
Thank you for these tips, at least the volte will help a little😁
Thanks bro!
Nice tips sir i will follow
very nice and exoctic. keep it up
Best battery tips I've ever implemented!🎉🎉🎉
You would make a great teacher great tutorial 👍
Thanks you were my battery hero❤
U are a ninja pro good user! Just nice ! Thanks a lot !!!
Thnxs bro 👏👏 well done 💪👌
Welcome 👍
Most of these work on the s22+ also. For someone who doesnt game or need all the bells and whistles but a basic phone to call text and surf internet with occasional videos you have my phone all set up now. Thanks. Before seeing your video I was watching the phone lose 10% in 1 hour just sitting there...Dohhhhh! lol Thanks
Thanks you so much, before this video i had 2,5 hours screen on. Now i did 95% of youre settings and i have a Stunning 4.5 hour on with 44% left. I have the resolutie still on the maximum and brightness on adaptieve but not extra dimmed.
Best video for samsung phone battery savings.
Thanks a lot
This needs to be updated to include Android 13 as I just got a s22 ultra and whilst much of the options are there, there are many that have moved or been renamed
Oooor if you want to spend a very little amount of power, just don't ever turn on the phone!🤣
Great video btw, great tips, thanks for the video.
Great tips! Using the dark mode helps as well.

Yes surprisingly setting to Dark mode was left out -- though it was self-evident on a Settings > Display menu
Amazing 👏
Loves The tips
Thanks for these tips. My phone even feels lighter after toggling these
Great vid!where did you get the lockscreen wallpaper?
WhatGear.net/wallpapers
Just curious on where you got the icons from? I love them
Great tips. I definitely didn't turn down vibration intensity since the new vibration motor in the S22U sucks compared to my old N20 Ultra, that's why I have the intemsity turned up to max, along with vibration duration. I kept the refresh rate at adaptive QHD+ since that's one of the major features of this phone over other phones, but I do have adaptive brightness turn on and I use the extra dim setting while in-doors. For my theme I use Nova Launcher and always black everything out, literally the only colors on my phone for backgrounds is black, and all text is red even for the notification shade.
Man I couldn't imagine being so caught up in battery life that I would turn my phone into a bleak, boring , and frankly just not worth it. I literally have all accent colors and a nice baby blue to match my theme black onion because I love the blue over black but I changed the background themes default background into this oilspill like picture that's very colorful and how you say turning down refresh rate pulls away from the quality of the phone, well having nothing but black does the same thing. What's the point of refresh rate when all you look at is bleak nothingness. I swear people are so boring.
@@tendomanoka4082 I see it the complete opposite, not only does it look sleek it's also easier on the eyes in dark environments, it's better for the phone screen (Inever have to worry about burn in), and overall just looks cool. I've always been a fan of dark mode and black modes on my devices, obviously I have it on my phone and i also have dark mode enabled on my PC including dark mode for firefox, chrome and any app that will allow dark mode. For me the major reason for it is its just easier for me to look at. Idk if I'm especially sensitive to bright lights but I just like having everything dimmer. I do have a very colorfull background image along with a rgb live lockscreen wallpaper. It's really to each their own, that's the great thing about android is that you can customize it how you like it. And as an added bones the dark mode helps battery life.
@@NonLegitNation2 ohhhhhh I seee, ok see I was under the impression that your phone looked like a Jiant black brick xD also burn in doesn't have to do either just color, white light in particular can cause bad burn in, I had an old android that had the keyboard burnt into the screen, literally could see the emoji symbol and all there text keys.
Hi. Hope you reply. How is your experience on the mobile. I'm planning to buy one the s22 ultra and hope the money isn't wasted. Is using it buggy and laggy or pretty smooth. Also can you give a long term review
@@abdullahafzalkhan8414 I've had mine for a while now, I upgraded from that galaxy s9+ and to be honest, I can see a minor difference, screen quality is better, load times I literally wouldn't be able to tell the difference unless they where side by side. All honesty the zoom is amazing, definitely the selling point, because I took a pretty crisp photo of the moon that took up the majority of the photo, that's how good the zoom is. I have had problems with vibration, say your walking with the natural bumping going on in your pocket, that bumping overpowers the vibration and you miss a lot of stuff unless your ringer is constantly on. As for its size, I'm exactly 6 foot and I got some fairly large hands, even so it's a chore to hold this phone up. I recommend you not using your phone above your face when laying down because it's gonna hurt, bad, like it's really heavy. Gaming on it isn't much fun because hands start cramping in the pinkeys and wrist after a while. Also if your thinking of getting the galaxy buds pro.. don't, if anything get the pro 2. If you have any other questions let me know. Also battery life is not a problem, don't sweat attempting to make it last longer because it already goes through the whole day anyway.
Great tips
The fact that you shot literally half of the video in 82% battery speaks volumes
Thanks for the tips! Did have most of these setting applied, however on full charge Battery left info only shows 18+ hrs. However on your device it shows 2d+? Wondering how is that? Also at 81% your device shows 1d+ which is 14+ on mine? Don't seem any setting can get to that level of capacity on mine.. :/
thanks !
