Looks like MLB is back and hasn't skipped a beat. This is a HUGE moment. San Diego homegrown talent pitching a 'no-no'. I'm a life-long Dodgers fan but came over to say that whenever I see anyone representing local talent playing for the local team. I'll always tip my hat in deepest respect and appreciation. If you don't have goosebumps after watching this, you're either not a baseball fan or a hater that isn't 'all things about your own team' (thus the term fan = fanatic). If you haven't been, there's something very special about the County of San Diego (from North all the way to the South) it's wonderfully magical and reflects on the residents who live there. First No-Hitter in 2020 and the Padres first No-Hitter in franchise history? Congrats to you guys on this historic moment. From a Phillies fan.

i remember just a couple months before this season started i was talking with my cousins about how the padres are the only team that had never thrown a no hitter, then this happened! i didn’t get to watch it since i was warming up for a game but then our coach was like “guys the padres just threw a no hitter” and everyone on my team went crazy

  • @glucosaminecondroitan9135

I first heard of Musgrove because he was a guest on the Chris Rose Rotation. Cool to see his season start with a no hitter!

The Expos de Montréal, who started the same year as the Padres, had one very early with Bill Stoneman in Philadelphia. Then many years later, Dennis Martinez pitched a perfect game in Los Angeles. It's always a beautiful thing to see the crowd get behind an opposing pitcher under great occasions
