Nice presentation 🎁. Just be sure, HP, to secure the lid when it's closed against the keyboard to minimize flexing of the lid. I prefer my 2019-early 2020 model which is all aluminum.
Not a single report of screen damage due to flex on either the 20 or 21 models, it's designed to flex within tolerance

My HP Omen 17 has such a disadvantage that sometimes when I run games, they run 10 times slower than they should. This happens randomly but mostly when the computer comes off a few minutes. When the system reboots it's OK. Anyone else have such a problem? This is very irritating.

haven't seen any yet. Might be happening soon because they had a maintenance last night and now that 10GAMER2021 promo code isn't working anymore. Probably did that so nobody get a discount on the 3080 version of this.

I'm so disappointed. I have been waiting for the Omen 17 with RTX 3080 for so many months now. I was happy to see that orders have started, now I'm sad because no RTX 3080 there.

11th gen intel is better than AMD
@@brentlowery2547 in terms of raw horse-power at higher power limits like 80-100w, yes intel is faster, but at lower tdp like 45w amd in faster as shown in Jarrod's tech video, and amd has much better battery life and generally runs cooler

For the Omen 17 you‘ll get maxed out 150+15W. So 165W in total

Today my omen 17 was supposed to have been shipped out today jan 17th and delivered by the 20th however no shipping label or tracking number has been established. I have waited since November already, I also cannot cancel my order, you guys are the worst. I have told all of my friends to not buy from HP or Omen for that matter, neither will I. Don't do business with these guys go with alienware or anyone else for that matter as even they won't OFFER YOU A PRODUCT THEY DONT HAVE THEN LIE TO YOU MULTIPLE TIMES.
