- I am often asked about the responsibilities of being a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The purpose of this short video is to give you a glimpse into what a day in my life is like.
―Elder David A. Bednar
Thank you for sharing this glimpse, Elder Bednar and for all that you do to help us stay anchored on Christ

David L Bednar Goggins, the Goggins of the Mormon church. Gotta respect that grind. 💪
What a dayyy
elder Bednar good boy
Looks like a lot of his time is spent walking from room to room.
He is a translated being!
That's what it looks like, but what else do you observe?
PRAISE JOSEPH SMITHS
Joseph smith was a great man, that's for sure.
Yes. A village trickster, glass-looker, a money digger, an adulterer and a charlatan. Praise to the man with his face in a hat!
@@kadaj2112 Joseph smith did what he wanted. He was a prophet so he could do that and it’s ok. Praise Joseph smith! All of his acts are justified! We should try to be like Joseph smith in every way!
❤
Love 💕
Mmmmm ok

Day in the life of corporate leadership of a business/cult
Sounds like a business to me.
This is the Jesus’s way:
10 After these things the Lord appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, whither he himself would come.
2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.
3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
4 Carry neither purse, nor scrip, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.
5 And into whatsoever house ye enter, first say, Peace be to this house.
6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.
7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
8 And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you. (Luke 10)
He is about his Father’s business, so, yeah…keep putting God in a box. It’ll help you get far.
It’s the Lord’s business, I assure you that , See and try to consecrate your whole life talents time and resources to the Lord and then comeback and tells us how you feel about that !
It looks like a business to me?
SMH!
If you don’t support these amazing people, you don’t get to criticize them.
@@luisp4009 do they really do that? Or do they earn money, benefits, vehicles, housing, credit cards and other perks? That doesn’t sound like a sacrifice to me. Just a thought.
@@FFM115 , it’s something you just wouldn’t understand! And not because you’re not intelligent enough but because you don’t have a testimony of this glorious work! Have a great day and may I suggest to not criticize the Lords anointed, ? Now that’s a BAD BUSINESS!
@matthewfassett3395 missionary work in the church is largely trying to convert people to the church, who in turn become dependent on the leaders almost to idolatry. It has nothing to do with the actual gospel of Christ which is largely care for the poor and the needy, clothe the naked, feed the hungry, care and heal the sick, care for the widow, the orphan, etc. I doubt that any missionary does any of that, they spend all day trying to convert people to the institution, and even if a good hearted missionary see someone in need and try to help the mission leader will discourage him. The church allocates 0 dollar for any of that, in fact even the missionaries themselves probably go hungry at times. Elder Bednar was assigning church salespeople to go to specific locations determined by the church based on marketing research to try to recruit more people for the church, that’s what Elder Bednar was doing. Don’t mistake preaching the Gospel with this.

Where are your seerstones, bro Bednar? Looking at screens and not at the interpreters. Your BoM mentions the possession of those is what constitutes a seer. What are you, a well-paid VP?
The Church office building is pretty opulent.
Not impressed. Nothing unlike the daily schedule of any corporate board member. Write talk, meet, write talk, meet, repeat.
It's easy to sit behind a device and say that, but are you willing to take up Jesus's invitation to "Come follow me," In whatever capacity He sees fit for your life, even if it doesn't seem impressive to you? What you see as impressive, may not be impressive to Lord, whose sight is completely perfect.
@@bestill365 Jesus did exist. He was a man. Christ was, and is, a man-made invention.
That's just the part he showed us. Notice he didn't include the actual meeting with the 12. He didn't because it is so sacred. Nor did he include the many prayers he said while fulfilling his tasks. Those sacred moments of revelation from God to an apostle.
Where's his pill-popping wife, is she not part of his life?
