Use of "Would rather"/ "Would sooner"/ "Would prefer"

Another important structure has been discussed. The sentence pattern is...
Subject + would rather/ would sooner + base form of verb + than + base form of verb.
and the other one is....
Subject + would prefer + to + base form of verb + than + base form of verb.
Generally we use this structure to show our preference or choice between two works.
