  • Concreteflow.Tech is making their mark on the 3D printed construction industry with a totally unique approach unlocking some serious efficiencies. Most notably their system uses 2 extruder heads at once, doubling the system output while still using 1 mixer pump system and 1 operator, perhaps with some help for reinforcement. This team also utilizes their print volume tremendously. We get to go all the way from printing in the warehouse to the onsite assembly of the printed walls!

    Dual print head. That's impressive for this scale of 3D printing.

    Kind of cool that wall spacing can be varied to change R values based on region. Very cool. Slava Ukraini!

    I love how they've created that brick look. I wonder how they fill in between the joins?

      The joints are seen on the interior side closer to the end - they just smear mortar over the vertical seams. It should be good enough to avoid drafts.

    Jarrett, your channel is awesome, you have great energy and enthusiasm. This particular home looks more like 3D printed bricks, and assembly is same. As a framer, I have no interest in brick-laying, but I am guessing the roof still needs a bit of wood? Be it engineered trusses or hand-cut rafters, we framers still steal the show putting up the ROOF!😂 my job is secure till you 3D print that!🤣🤣🤣CHEERS

    Nice! "Thermal bridging" is what they are cleverly avoiding, by using only fiberglass ties between wythes. And doing a really good job of it, as concrete is an efficient heat conductor. This is how all CMU in a cold climate should be!

    "PUSHING THE BOUNDARIES AND TRYING NEW THINGS " - "WRITE G CODE BY HAND" - Now that's talent. Thanks to all involved in this recording. Another demonstration on how we can print our solutions. What Putin has torn down in the Ukraine and elsewhere, the people will PRINT UP STRONGER!
    BTW - I cannot recommend Jarett Gross' HOW TO 3D PRINT A HOUSE course strongly enough.
    If you know a good person who is unemployed, consider gifting them a scholarship to take the class so they can build a better life. If you're ready to print your own kingdom, this is a great wisdom starting point.
    Your gift to yourself and/or others will be JUST IN TIME FOR THE FUTURE - as Jarett's class is for me.

    I do not understand technology benefits: basically those guys just make building bricks but with help of another technology, which leads to a question: what is wrong with classic building brick manufacturing technology?

    • @TarmanYoloSwag
      @TarmanYoloSwag Před 9 měsíci +1

      Compared to brick laying it's far faster and removes the need for skilled labour. Look at the guys moving the blocks @7:44. The insulation cavity is prespaced and it's equivelant to at least 30 (215x102x65mm) bricks on the inner and outer layer. Even a skilled brick layer would need a few minutes to lay that many bricks. An unskilled brick layer would need 10 minutes and get the cavity gap wrong.
      This technology saves time and the need for skilled labour (money).
      Edit: And it's wayyyyy lighter for transport. That can be a HUGE cost to rural projects.

    • @CantPickTheNameIwant
      @CantPickTheNameIwant Před 9 měsíci

      @@TarmanYoloSwag there are bricks on a market that already are lighter and larger with much better insulation properties than classic red bricks

    actually frightening that there's no support or lintel under the top window frame. The blocks are just being held up by wooden posts. Surely they can add lintels over the top window frame and then add a thinner block to match the level of the ordinary blocks? And no insulation? Unless they're pouring in some kind of beaded insulation?

    Ah, every house will look the same exactly the same. That is cheap thin concrete. A branch will plow out an entire wall. It doesn’t take a genius to be a carpenter. I know and work with many. There is more than enough people to build homes. This 3D crap is not needed. Produces expensive crap. Just my opinion
