Awesome pick ups there! It’s a treat when toy companies offer their showcased products right on sight. At this dim sum joint in the Chicago Chinatown they’ve a menu for you to circle dishes. One day is ok. I’m the first day type of a con guy and then am done. Used to go on the last day thinking sales, but there isn’t much of the hot items left. Artists Alley is huge with new and old artists. At the Chicago Con C2E2, there’s an actual McDonald’s inside the convention center thank God - double quarter pounder with cheese please(regular price). When you have a big collection and you look at toys everyday, it’s sometimes hard to remember if you have a figure or not. I actually need a TVC Ahsoka thinking that I’ve already have her in the collecioné. FUN plastic show FUN video FUN Daddy intro!! I’m sure they’ll be making a Carl Weathers to go with that Dutch - the iconic hand shake/biceps FLEX. 💪🏾💪🏼
I need to make it out to c2e2 one day. Last day there usually isn’t much to chose from and the super busy days aren’t enjoyable for me, personally. First day is always my favorite day.

A lot of fun new stuff at the Neca booth. Between Universal Monster sets, the TMNT Universal Monsters, E.T., and Gargoyles, they’ll will be getting a good chunk of my paycheck this next year. That Elton John figure looks pretty damn awesome too. I might have to snag that one too.

Awesome video, so much cool stuff. You mentioned you moved on from the Neca Turtles line and Gargoyles. What do you mostly collect or what lines are you staying on board with? I think I have to make some decisions myself. I go on these buying binges and impulse buys before you know it I have all these diffident lines of figures. I think the best way for me to address it would be to just buy what I like the best. Stick to the plan and not buy random stuff. All the cool stuff that’s out there makes it so hard. I swear I’m going to need to seek counseling regarding my toy addiction 😝 😂 awesome video and I have subscribed to your channel.

I talk about making hard decisions all the time on this channel whether it’s in my hunts or on my toy walks. As you’ve stated, lots of cool stuff and it’s very easy to buy without a real purpose. That’s a bad spot to be in imho. I try to set some rules and guidelines for myself and always keep the vision of my collection firmly in mind.
I’m predominantly a vintage toy guy and it’s within the vintage realm that I give myself flexibility with what I collect - Kenner Star Wars, GI Joe, dnd, tmnt, motu, thundercats, Toybiz stuff (most likely trim some of that too soon) but when it comes to modern toys and really just in general (and most especially for my bigger scale statues) I am a high fantasy/horror and motu guy all the way. Mythic Legions is my top toy line and mostly what I care about. Big box retail it’s Motu Origins and I collect some neca ultimates lines.

I have quite a few of the 1:10 scale Diamond Select statues. I usually can’t afford the big stuff from Sideshow so I’m happy that Diamond select does such a good job with the smaller stuff. It could be argued the Marvel select figures are superior to Marvel Legends as well
