    As a Texan I've been all over Matagorda.
    There used to be a windmill that watered the livestock on the island.
    There was also a grave for a mans hunting dog next to the windmill where he sang his ability to retrieve ducks.
    Ya'll really need to check out South Padre Island National Seashore!!
    It's a 60 mile drive down the beach before hitting Mansfield pass.

    Its called "shell banks", the place with all the shells. We did this in vehicles like that on the mainland coast of Mexico back in the 80s, looking for surf spots in Michoacan and Colima. The spot your camping is Mitchel's cut. Cool trip, my home beach.

    Welcome to Texas guys! We live in Houston, but have a place in Sargent, just on the other side of Matagorda Bay. If you get a chance, throw a line in the surf, Redfish are biting pretty well, and there's alway catfish. Cut bait or shrimp works on pretty much anything out there. Hope the mosquitos aren't too bad, and watch the dunes. We have fairly short (3'-4') but very fat rattlesnakes in the sand dunes. I wish I could say the storm washed up all the trash, but it didn't. Our beaches in North Texas are alway full of garbage as you've noticed. Unfortunately our State Government is pretty anti-environment, so they just don't care. If you went several hundred miles South to Padre or Mustang Island, the beaches are actually clean. Good luck on your next legs of your journey. If you can, check out some of the Army / Navy attractions along the Gulf Coast on I=10, like in Mobile Alabama. You'll love the beaches and boardwalk in Pensacola or Clearwater Florida!

    Now that was definitely worth the wait! Thanks for letting us tag along on your adventures.Youre Toyota adventures are just as fun to watch as your Jeep Adventures! Also, I bet Sally is looking for that part of the beach for her next sea shell sells and here is another verse to your already very popular, Sea Shanty song.....
    Heres another wet guy, that you can see
    And his name.... is Henry
    Laughing at my phone, like I'm blowing a cartridge
    But he cant even fix beans, hey...(back to the chorus) 😅
    Have a safe trip guys so we can all watch your next uploaded video, or not, of wherever you might go, or if you dont, doesnt matter. Oh, and i didnt subscribe (again). 😂

      @henryitsdeza5553 Před rokem +1

      Bro, that section of the beach had so many shells. It was ridiculous and getting soaked in the middle of night was a super funny experience. The beans were horrible. I ended up dumping them in the fire and they just sat there smoldering for like an hour.

    • @timg0222
      @timg0222 Před rokem +1

      @Henry ItsDeza Henry, you're relieved of bean duty. Just stick to making your highly sought-after coffee. Jesse, after you're done catching crabs (take that as you may), go ahead and show us the correct way to make delicious, edible, non-smolderable beans straight out of the can! You can video it, or not, it's up to you. Until the next upload, be safe and have fun out there.

    Good stuff. Would like to see you guys take the opportunity to incorporate brief informational/technical sessions into your videos like maybe comparing the advantages/disadvantages of using your Toyotas vs the Jeeps. For example in certain conditions on the various terrains (rock, mud, snow, sand,etc) or tire pressures or gearing and when to use 4 hi/lo. General info or different perspectives that others simply don’t have because they don’t own both vehicles. Many things are obvious but many are not and I’m sure this is easier said than done. Just a thought.

    • @henryitsdeza5553
      @henryitsdeza5553 Před rokem +1

      Yeah, I actually recently redid the whole back half of the truck again I finally got it dialed in pretty good unfortunately I’ve lost some articulation, but the front seems to be making up for it but still working on it. Leak springs are super simple but they’re super delicate for dialing in. It’s like trying to whittle wood with a hatchet.

    very beautiful and robust the new vehicles but the Jeeps will be missed. By the way, are you going to sell them? If it's for sale I'm interested. A hug from Gil Jeep, Brazil

    • @itsDeza
      @itsDeza  Před rokem +1

      The Jeeps are not going anywhere don’t worry! We normally switch vehicles depending one where we are going and what time of year it is. This trip was filmed late winter, when we left our home state it was 20 some degrees! But they are about to come out of the garage soon!

      It's good that you won't do without the Jeeps, after all I think they're amazing, it's much more challenging to travel by Jeep than by pickups. Jeep has all its spirit of freedom, I must admit that Jeeps made me a fan of your channel. A big hug from Gil Jeep, here from São Paulo, Brazil. and looking forward to seeing the jeeps on new trips.

    Hello friends... Excellent video... If it were not for the serious economic, political and social crisis that my country is going through, I would invite you to visit Venezuela, here there are very beautiful and difficult to access beaches where only all-terrain vehicles can pass... The access terrain of some beaches lends itself to off road activities. Many beaches are in the middle of a tropical jungle.

    • @henryitsdeza5553
      @henryitsdeza5553 Před rokem

      Wow, I would absolutely love to visit Venezuela, but like you stated some of the current issues, make me a bit nervous, traveling with those kinds of vehicles, and not knowing the local language with proved difficult for sure

    • @henryitsdeza5553
      @henryitsdeza5553 Před rokem

      Sorry if it got deleted I don’t remember deleting anything. Usually we don’t delete anything unless it’s offensive or someone or something like that. But as far as the deflators, we’ve been playing around with different brands, I use one that’s called ( grit) I think Jesse has (arb) to look at them and use them. They are almost absolutely identical. We are now playing around with high flow valve, stems and dual head compressor pumps for as much as we are up and down the faster the better no one like airing down until you do, then, you’re happy you did.

    ITSDezas Hello I just saw you here in Greenville PA . , If I could post a picture I would. Had a tiny blue Toyota parties next to your rig. You were eating at china gourmet . Parked by the light post. I enjoy your videos . If it wasn't the fact you were eating , I was going to let you know of a really good Jeep course in Ohio . My three brothers , sister in-law goes ( her own jeep ). And their friends go . How ever I was able to get the information in time .. also was going to recommend Cobble stone hotel down the road . Cheap price great room and.good hot tub in the pool room .. being driveing your rig for three or four days can't be comfortable ( perhaps the exhaustion you had going ) . Either way if you would like the information for The Jeep course. I can get it for you just let me know. And if you would appreciate a " toure guide" or at least a group to go with . My brother and all them would enjoy ridei g with you ( in their own jeeps ) .. My brother also knows other good rides in PA n other places. Let me know and again enjoy the videos and your rig . Stay safe n enjoy.
