My dad’s favorite movie as I was growing up. Not that he would play it a lot. Great flick,I can dig it. I can go forever on this, the game, and any kind of imaginary extension or reimage of the movie.

Went to NYC in 2013 and my pal took me to Coney Island and to a shop with lots of Warriors merch and souvenirs, bought a lot of them, shirts, magnets, buttons, stickers, mugs etc. they even had an really good looking warriors leather vest, but it was too expensive for me… These are the armies of the night! Can you dig it?
I wish that the sword and sandals movies would come back… sooo many could be turned into horror movies with all the f*cked up body horror thats in Greek Mythology
Looking forward to this review love this movie.. even though I grew up watching the 1979 film the wanderers which is an amazing film about an Italian gang in 1963.. they are different films released in the same month.. ❤ I'm glad I finally get to hear newt talk about a movie I actually know very well.. 55 minutes grab my popcorn 🍿 😂😂😂
"a lot of these guys look like other guys" there's a whole documentary about that with character actors mostly from TV called something along the lines of "that guy who was in that thing" talking about all those actors you know but can't ever name who make good shit.
It's not Don Henley, It's Joe Walsh. After the movie came out the Eagles re-recorded the song and put it on their album but it's Joe Walsh's song and he's singing in this version.
Yeah man. I love this movie too. It is probably my favorite movie. Saw it on TV back when the game was about to come out (Fall 2005 or 2006?) and the next day I went and bought the director’s cut.
Growing up very much outside of new york, the theatricality of the costumes and characters always seemed way too much, but having gone to New York subsequently, it only seems to go to 11 as it were. Not to nitpick, but you kept saying Jack Hill instead of Walter hill, and I'm just curious as to whether there was some association behind that slip. It is a great film, and you definitely have a point about how the inadvertent documentary aspects of filmmaking with live cast and crew bleed through aspects of a world that no longer exists
your latin teacher is SO disappointed ;-p it (the Iliad) IS about Achilles btw. he gets offended, and refuses to fight so the Greeks start dropping like flies until someone pretends to be him, and leads the troops. when he's killed Achilles finally joins the fight to get revenge cuz if I remember right they'd been fuckin.

Achilles you had it. For Illyad. Odyssey was Oddseus. Too many characters in those books. Love this move great soundtrack

Love The Warriors, but not a fan of that Extended Cut with the comic book panels… also, The Warriors video game in PS2 was freaking amazing!

Great video… The Warriors is just one of the “amaziest” movies ever made. My only regret is no have watched this movie as a child. Top cult movies!
