This is one of the best 14500 lights you can buy that's based on the Nichia 519a LED. Great regulation, nice small size for an EDC, easy charging, great all around value and the well rounded beam quality you'd expect from the 519a. Thanks for the video!

Which emitter do you prefer for use at nighttime? I have a 4500K but the 3000K looks nice too, it's just hard to judge which is better for daily use without having it in person. Great reviews, thank you so much for all of the videos you produce!
Hello sir. I think both are fine to you sir. For me I like 3000-4500k. It also depends on the environment too. In my forest, I like 3000k version because it helps me see things well. I can see animals 'eyes well too such as snake on the ground. 3000k also good for wet forest and wet asphalt road but it may not be good to use in the house. 4500k seems better to be used around the house. 5000+6500k are good for self defense. Are there any TIRs that con be used in this light, instead of the reflector? I would love to see this with a 10 degree pebbled TIR.

@@weerapatkiatdumrong Up until recently I was running a 30 degree TIR on my S2+, but when I tried the 10 degree it really did it for me, Now both of my S2+s are on 10 degree pebbled TIR.
BTW, are you going to try the new 6V 2A driver and 719A? I built my EDC Ti S2+ like this and I'm very happy with the results. Initially I was gonna go with the 6V4A driver and XHP50.3 HI but decided not to after Simon announced the 719A and driver since I never really need that high output anyway.

I think having boring old USB-C would be better. I have some magnetic charging lights/lanterns and now realise they were a mistake to purchase and I would never buy another as I want to be able to charge with a generic lead.
