Recently I also got this watch myself, the black one with the retro accents. I find the addition of Bluetooth and Tough Solar makes an already great watch pretty much unbeatable at this price point.

I just got one of these today. Have not had a Casio before so I watched many videos to figure it out. For a newbie like me, this watch is pretty complicated. This video is by far the best. Great job!
Almost bought this yellow one because of it's legibility but after getting used to the negative type display on my G-STEEL, and the additional releases I opted for the Caution Yellow model and put it in a black stainless steel case/bracelet. Very practical as is though, plus an excellent base for something with a little more class. The crownless case in particular preserves the original case shape.
Great review and great watch. Just ordered the black one with the blue and red markings, here in the UK. I also ordered some 22mm strap adapters from JaysAndKays, and a black 22mm Archer silicone strap. Can’t wait to get it all set up.

I love the look of the negative display, but dislike the real world usefulness of it. I find when it’s at all dark it is impossible to see them without the backlight

Really informative review! I previously had the original yellow version but ended up selling it because it was too long for my wrist. I'm hoping they bring these upgrades to the smaller GMA version.
I just got the quote UN quote last one from Amazon just today after watching this video I was on the fence for a while with the red accent one I was just about to pull the trigger at $118 which is a decent price. And then I saw this seeing yellow is my favorite color next to green I had to get it and your review was fire 🔥 and seeing the display was more legible I went with this color fo sho thanks 😊
It's a really nice watch, and one which I'm looking forward to getting myself as well, although I find more charm in the regular Casioak. One thing I wish they would do is put solar on the regular Casioak line(the non-bluetooth models) , but still every single watch in the Casioak lineup is gorgeous.

My casio ga-b2100-1aer *black watch with the blue bluetooth logo & the smaller red dial accent arrived yesterday (uk) very happy with it, took a little while to get used too but almost there now... 1 thing I noticed is if you have the casio app on in the background on your mobile phone it drains the battery quite quick...hopefully be a future fix 🤞🏻

I have an important question for me, I had a GW-M5610U-1ER, but I sold it because the buttons were uncomfortable (too small, it was difficult to use this watch). I wonder what the situation is with GA-B2100-1AER? Are the buttons comfortable? And my second question, because I saw that you had the G-9400-1ER in your hand, what is the situation with the keys? They are big, but what about pressing? Easy to turn on?

Hey Pete, great review. Does the band on yours squeak like mad where the band hits the case? Mine does! I'm sure the coloured G-Shocks are a different type of resin because my black Casioak doesn't squeak.
Great review thank you! Quick question about the alarm function please. Does the Watch have silent alarm where it vibrates or will it only alarm with audible sound? This is one of my favourite features with the Apple Watch and makes it hard for me to look elsewhere.
Honestly eventhough it has that " carbon core strength"💪🏼 Obviously all gshock watches are really Built for hardcore poundage and usage so why add this carbon material to this specific model hehe just my observation 😊 (they should have exposed that carbon material just a tiny bit just you can feel& see the design the problem is its hidden inside hehe)
I would personally prefer multi band 6 rather than bluetooth. I think that is why I wear my 5610 constantly. I guess I prefer it as I live within a coverage area of one of the atomic clock towers though so i am biased.
Can it show a date without playing with it? When I go to work after 3 days off I rather like to know it's 13th than its 12:35. 45, date instead of seconds would be cool
I want red or royal blue with positive display. Find feature only works if 1. Bluetooth is turned on on the phone 2. The phone is in Bluetooth range So it's pretty limited. Most people don't keep Bluetooth on on the phone all the time.
Good call out from your previous video when you said the minute hand was thicker ashen compared to the non solar option. Looking at the 5 solar options, is the yellow the only one with the thicker minute hand?
hmm not sure what you mean, I don't think this yellow version has wider hands than the other colours, but I do think they are a little wider than the non-bluetooth version of the watch, but I can't be 100% certain
do you have the app on your phone? that’s the first step to connect things, then the app will walk you through setting it up, it was really straightforward through the app
I just ordered the inferno black/red version... I have very large wrists... Will the band be long enough to not be using the last hole in the band like some Casio that I have in the past... If so can you recommend any replacement wrist bands...? TY

So I am assuming that it isn't a counterfeit? Sorry if this is an offensive or weird ask. I am new to the watch game and just didnt want to ge scammed
As this is brand spanking new I really wouldn’t think you need to worry about counterfeits yet. Also the syncs and works perfectly with the CASIO WATCHES app so I don’t doubt it’s authenticity

yah mine will squeak some for sure, definitely more than my jellyfish OG casioak. It feels like it will go away with normal use but time will tell

have they fixed the resin rot issues of casios?
Wash your band everyday with dishwashing liquid after use. Oil Dirt and Bacteria break down the resin. Keeping it clean is the only way.
