It shows you do not need the support of other instruments to compose and perform an effective composition - to the surprise of a vast audience who may not have studied music as a wider concept and have just listened to the mundane dribble that pours out like vomit from the radio these days, without learning to appreciate what work composers can do and have the ability to create.
