I have been removing my waist belt from my 2300 when i needed a smaller size works great.
Good to know. I have thought about that but not yet tried it. It only bothers me pulling up and down thru branches and on the hot early season days makes my hips sweat. And since I don't carry my sticks and stands on my back anymore I don't really need the hip belt. Even packing a deer out down here. Smaller deer and easy ro carry out.

I have the 1500 version and its a great daypack. I removed the waistbelt immediately. Just didn't need it for that size pack and those waistbelt pockets were useless. Its my summer scouting pack and has great ventilation where it touches your back.

Mahalos for the review, they’re actually on sale for 99$ but I’m torn between the 1200 and 1500 lol. And both are on sale. I do have a Venture 2300 and it’s been a solid hunting pack and hand carry on flights.
Tough call on the size. Probably best to get the 1500 just to be sure

I got the divide 3000. Do you think that divide part can load out a deer pretty easily?
never tried the 3000 version. But I would trust the main compartment more I bet. But again never tried the 3000.
Is there any way to attach a predator platform & 4 sticks to that pack? I also have the 2300 love it but would love a smaller lighter option when hunting smaller private spots where I don’t have long hikes into.
I dont believe so. I think you have to go to the divide 3000 to get compression straps.
