I thought about trading up, but after all the mods/upgrade that I've done to this Gen2 Keltec Sub2000... I just could not let it go.LOL! I'm Still considering getting new Gen3 Sub2000 as a backup. (Smile) Thanks for watching. Stay safe and healthy. Peace
Dude awesome......you are your own gunsmith....i did something similar to a 22cal pellet gun was a pistol now a rifle with folding stock...i like your keltec actually i never was interested in one until your video 9mm huh
Thanks bro. For the money these are awesome little carbines. Nothing fancy, buy with a little imagination and a few M-carbo upgrades... You can get a lot of bang for your buck! (Smile) Thanks for watching. Stay safe and healthy. Peace
Hello CZcams. This may not be the most sophisticated or aesthetically pleasing mod/upgrade to look at, but it's function. LOL! And in the end, that's all that really matters. (Smile) Thanks for watching. Stay safe and healthy. Peace
For me, the folding mechanism is just an unnecessary bonus. The main point of the Sub2k is its price. The least expensive 9mm carbine of good quality. So your DIY scope mount makes perfect sense for me, well done 👌. Associated with some high velocity load of 9mm, can be very effective. Will never replace a 223, but not everyone as access to these.
@@xen3534 Thanks. My thoughts exactly! The folding mechanism is a nice feature, but for me, unnecessary also. For the money this is a very good little inexpensive 9mm carbine. Definitely not a 223, but for most home defense situations... It'll get the job done. With good shot placement. (Smile) People talk about how a 9mm carbine is a bad choice for a home defense rifle, but the same people have no problem using a 9mm handgun for self-defense. Go figure? A 9mm coming out of a rifle barrel is going to be more accurate and have more power, than coming out of a handgun barrel. Just saying. Thanks for the feedback. Thanks for watching. Stay safe and healthy. Peace
That actually worked well when I had a red dot on my Sub2000, but that wouldn't work with a scope. That's why I ended up going this route. I don't mind that I can't fold it with the present setup. Thanks for watching. Stay safe and healthy. Peace
Please get a LTL bravo with some aluminum balls its a beast over 20joules and will penetrate a skull wont steer you wrong brother had mine iver a tear 1000s rounds and 100s of cos through it and it still works like a charm ot saysbit holds 6 thats rubber balls any other ammo its 5
Glad you're having a great experience with your LTL Bravo bro. I'm saving up for the new Byrna Le, but I'll keep the Bravo in the back burner. (smile) Thanks for watching. Stay safe and healthy. Peace
Ingenuity !
But fortunately for me the 3rd gen's rail extends all the way back to the pivot point... 😆👍

I think I would have offset the scope to the side
