Acids and Bases

Use red cabbage to create a test to find out which common household products are acids and bases.
***Ask an adult to help to choose household products that are safe for children to handle and NEVER drink any of the liquids.
Keep them away from younger children.***
You will need:
Red Cabbage
A Blender
Hot Water
Glasses or test tubes
A table cloth or covering
Household acids and bases - Vinegar, soap, apple juice, detergent, clear soft-drink or mineral water, milk of magnesia or similar antacid.
