Saw this for the first time last night. Loved it and was THRILLED for the happy ending........then came the shocker. I was sitting on my couch wiping the tears from my face. Darn you Odd Thomas and your freaking adorable Stormy!!
when i watched this a few years ago, it wrecked me. I remembered this movie again suddenly, watched again...and although i knew the ending, it wrecked me just as bad like the first time. Odd and Stormy had such a beautiful relationship.
And they put this song to it 😭😭😭 yo I’m balling my eyes out I listened to this song when I was destroyed inside and felt like nothing then you can see exactly how it feels in his eyes when he finally says goodbye man fuck 😭😭😭
When I watched the movie, this ending took me by complete surprise! I started weeping like a baby! Every now and then, I put the movie back from the Mall shooting and watch the ending. I. Cry. Every. Single. Time. I wish we had sequels, but to have such an emotional ending is just too hard to beat.
Im an ex soldier. Ex gangbanger. Divorced. Through out all of that i never shed a single tear. This movie made me cry like a damn baby. She refused to move on because she wanted to give him a perfect few days. He, knowing all the signs of the dead, couldnt accept that she was dead and his brain convinced him she was still alive.
I love this movie but I hate the ending. I have lost two of the most important people in my life in the past years and it hurts forever. The key is to never forget those we have loved and lost
Someone important to me passed on a year ago as well. The ending hit harder cause I know how he felt. Horrible feeling but they want us to keep moving forward.
RIP Anton.. odd scene you almost got hit by a jeep too in the beginning, that's the weirdest thing I've ever seen 'Odd' PG to PG13 type movie. horrific ending. Gun control guys.. stop this bs, no other country has this.
I am aware that when you're adapting a book to the silver screen, if you change too much it'll ruin the general message of the original book among other things. I also appreciate whenever an adaptation if faithful to the source material. By why? Why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why, why couldn't they have changed the ending?
