It appears to be confirmed: Grand Trunk Western 4070’s whistle sounds more like the Polar Express locomotive’s whistle than Sierra Number 3’s whistle does.

Actually at 1:01 that was the REAL clip of the “GTW 4070”s whistle, but it’s actually the McCloud 25, next time if you find a video that sounds like a REAL audio of the generic horn / whistle like this, there’s a chance that it may be the real thing. Or research it.
