Unfortunately you can only play one sound from the sample synth section at a time. You can layer the piano and organ on top of it, but cannot layer a different sound from the sample synth section on top of the sample synth sound that is already sounding.
Hi Thanks for the video I received my Nord 6 today do you know if I can use 2 midi channels in my Daw? For example organ on midi channel 1 and for example strings or another sinstrument on channel 2 if you know what I mean. Thanks Gr.Ness
Hey @thecoastcoverbandnoordwijk, you can separate the triggering of organ notes, and piano/sample synth notes in midi by utilizing the "External KBD to Lo" function that the Organ module offers. This allows you to trigger the organ sounds, or the piano/sample synth sounds from independent keyboards. To activate the "External KBD to Lo" function, hold the shift button and press keyboard split. By default global channel is set to 1, and the "External Keyboard to Lo" function is set to channel 16. You can adjust this within the menu titled "Channel". Page 13, 23, and 27 speak to the "External Keyboard to Lo" function in the user manual. You may find it helpful to hear how Nord phrases things. Hey @hans4743 you can only play one sound from each module on the Electro 6, so you can only play with one sample synth sound at a time. Some of the newer models of keyboards Nord has released will let you play with two sounds from one module, but not the Electro 6. Hope that helps!
Super nice of you. Thanks so much. Almost kinda an engineering class, which I really need.
Thanks , very clear and use full !
Thank you so much
Is it possible to layer the sounds, strings and pad in the sample synth section ?

Hello! I need to ask, is it possible to play with multiple sounds at once from the Synth section? And how many sounds can I combine together?
