Nothing wrong with build up a song. If you listen to the song again and again you understand the slow build up. Its needed.

You keep pausing the song every 5 seconds, how on earth did you make a statement about it? You didn't even listen to it totally. Just understand the meaning of the word "reaction", first you listen, then you say what you felt. What you did was speaking all the time in parts of the song that build the last minute. That's why you missed the whole point.

Maybe he's smarter than we think with putting evrything at the end of the song, why? cause it's a contest, jurys and poeple will have to deal with a lot of songs in a short time and what will they remember? mostly the end of the songs + the repetitive sentence whos going right in the head, its a eazy song to remember and to sing with so, I think he make a good chance to reach the top!

Take "stairway to haven "by Letzepelin, how many time do you have to waite for the bridge at the verry end of the song? and still that it's one of the biggest song ever, so what the problem with the structure of this one? who says that it must be like thais or like that 😉

you judge the song after 1 minute, I guess you don't understand the coreography, you give it 8.2 out of 10 and you say it can't make it to the top ten. Honestly, I don't understand this comment, sorry. The song has a nice structure that builds to a fantastic climax, his voice is good, the backing vocals do their job, it is delivered professionally, what more could you expect? Belgium retains its individuality and does not participate in the kitch in the circus that the Eurovision Song Contest has become.

Excellent comment. This is actually a song (unlike many others) and a very good one, not some parody or Eurosong kitsch. It's a banger! I'd love this to win the contest and I'm sure it'll be a big European hit.
Can I give you an advice, don't stop the song every 10 seconds, it is killing te vibe and it is hard to get into storytelling of a song.
It is like watching a movie and every minute there is a commercial. Just a tip.
