    having 1gig capable devices running at 100mbps is a sign that there's a bit crimp / broken wire in the cable. Gigabit needs all four pairs, 100mbps can get by with less

      Yea, I have a feeling it's just a bad crimp cause I did it late at night after work, lol.

    About to start putting a channel together myself, and nice to see what other people are doing. Doing some quick filming, and then some screen captures as I go along.Gotta ask, does your shop double as a neighbourhood Rave? Your 100 Meg lines could be a kink / broken wire, or your cable is Cat5 not Cat5e and above.

      Yea, I just gotta replace some connections probably and the shop can be loud. I've gotten a noise complaint twice, and I live in the country, lol.

      @@ControlAndTech That is the sign of a good setup. Thankfully all my neighbours are in their 90s and can't hear very well.

      Lol, that's good. Even though I'm under driving the speakers, I'm still pushing 2500w or so rms.

    Let me know if you need latest firmware for that EX2200!
    You can move that bar to the bottom of the rack, I did it on mine

    Either you make really good money, or in a lot of debt.

      Or I'm very good at finding good deals lol but it's mainly just budgeting all this stuff was accumulated over a year or 2.

    What good does it do you CZcamsrs to be excessive? you don't even have 15 connected devices but it's you who takes a 48 port switch knowing well that you will never exceed the 24 ports of your patch panel.

    • @ControlAndTech
      @ControlAndTech  Před 7 měsíci +1

      Honestly, its because the switch was cheap at $100, and to have flexibility in the future is nice.
