First XV College rugby is back and it's a cracking match between hosts Auckland Grammar and Sacred Heart in the Auckland 1A competition. Credit: Sky Sport NZ
Just the spatial awareness, peripherals and level of communication between both boys from Grammar and Sacred Heart blows my mind. Used to play scrum half back in my school days but those spirals by Mckenna and Helu (and the kid before him) were on point, shout out to those boys. Hope to see most of these boys lace their boots for Super Rugby eventually. Cheers from Indonesia to anyone reading this! Edit: More First XV full games on this channel please!
As a Cornish man 'looking in', I wonder; how do these NZ 1st XV sides stack up against their S.A opposition? I can't see any English schoolboy XV's phasing these young men. Awesome display of NZ 'strength in depth rugby. Stay safe. Chons da oll.
I wonder how these boys would fare against the South African schools? The ones that has represented NZ in South Africa has been very dissapointing. Are these the best Schools in NZ?
Top 10 in NZ, I'd say not many schools would want to send there kids over there. It would be very expensive and logistically difficult with questions over safety for few benefits the only schools that would travel would have to have another school or religious link. Normally the only school to go overseas is the national champions
South african schools gonna smashed the nz schools ez, the physicality is second to none and the agility is outstanding. Probably due to steroid used, since most of them are muscular and ripped af, however let just said they are natural lol. The nz schoolboys catch up to them when they entering their 20's.
@@harizizzat09 first of South Africa has a population literally 10 times that of NZ also when schoolboy world champs are held is the height of our off season after the school year so all the players who were in they're last year and are attending University don't go.
KIWI HUNTER Thats just an excuse, its probably occur the same to sa schools. Just accept that sa is the best in the world for school boys rugby, not untill we see an opposite outcome. So far we hve seen multiple times the nz boys getting smashed 30+ every time not even against the top 5 schools in sa. Yeah nz got far lesser population, but thats the same for senior rugby as well and you guys are number1. No excuse aye?
I'll pronounce Tongan correctly the moment tongans can pronounce English words the same. See how it can go both ways but only one will get claimed as racist
KIWI HUNTER What the hell are you on about? We’re talking about Willie, not you. He has a bloody Tongan last name. He played for Tonga. At least make an effort.

Our school boys may not be as big and built as them S.A & England blokes but we have heart and thats something you cant beat.
The Auckland 1A and Super 8 top teams will do well against RSA schools,
Sedbergh College in England I heard is a good Rugby school.
@@bigfella426 Sounds a wee bit like being Cornish in the 70's, not the biggest when compared to the English sides, but plenty of fire and passion.
@@derricknanai62 Thank you man.; Chons da.

Willie needs to brush up on his pronunciation of the players names....the white did much better at calling Fineanganofo's name........???
Willie needs to know his Tongan, it’s bloody embarrassing. Goodness sake he knows his Japanese.
I think the way willie pronounced it is fine.
