To be fair to Duncan, he did actually try to help first before losing his mind.
That's true, Lewis typically just jumped straight to "YOU JUST DO IT! FIGURE IT OUT!" He's actually gotten better over the years.
You can sense the tension building on Duncan as he’s trying to remain calm and be helpful but he’s also extremely frustrated that ravs isn’t figuring out basics of the game.
To be fair to Ravs, sometimes survival games are an informational overload, and I’m sure streaming adds that extra layer of “everyone is watching me not understand the game right now” intrusive thought. I do think that Ravs also recognized he was probably asking questions he could figure out by looking at the tips or just running around
After a decade or so of being around Lewis so much, he finally let go and let the Lewis demon into his head. Soon enough, the whole world will be plagued by an inner Lewis telling everyone to scoop up some handfuls of oil
Just as Duncan is walking home he hears a faint voice on the wind saying... *push*

honestly though, the amount of times ive been playing a new game with friends and none of them read anything and then just ask questions constantly, as bad as the person on their phone for half a movie and look up ang go "whats going on in the movie"

Duncan has a point. They've played at least a solid dozen survival games in the last year alone but Ravs never seems to actually learn any of the common gameplay mechanics. I understand it's hard to be MLG when you're trying to interact with chat and the homies, but a lot of the Yogs crew genuinely are just horrifically bad at video games.
Especially Duncan...

Luckily none of my buds every want to play anything new that isn't free so we don't have that problem 😊

@@Deppie_____ Pretty much. Even after I finally got some friends into PC gaming... the only games we all play are Single Player ones... basically zero shared taste in Multiplayer games
@@veliustactics9133 for us it's the other way around. Only interested in multiplayer games but never want to buy anything new, not anything on sale but also never anything cheap.

If there is one game that is truly inescapably rage inducing, it's definitely Ark.

I really, really want to like join and help them cause ark is one of my favorite games that im really good at and watching them struggle really hurts.
To be fair to Ravs, you get stone by hitting rocks with an Axe in ARK, so its not overly obvious where to get it if you dont know much about the game
You also get it by scooping it up with yours hands from the ground

Wow why would you do that to yourself? You time is valuable, spending it trying to fight a garbage engine and bad game design in the hopes of extracting an ounce of fun is not worth it to me (although it did still take me about 250hrs in ARK and 125 in ATLAS to figure that one out sadge).

But you managed to play atlas for 125 hours?? That's easily a harder achievement 🤣
@@OverdosedToast I'd found a good server with a nice community, and it helps that I really like sailboats
@@Zappygunshot see I love boats and exploration but I usually play survival games on original settings and it was sooo painful especially for a solo dodo.
@@OverdosedToast Oh absolutely. Like I said, I found a good server with a lovely community; settings were tuned to discourage solo play but not make playing just painful if for example none of your crew are on. It's a workaround for a game that runs on an awful engine, has terrible game design, and a UI that risks inducing vomiting.
It's a crying shame, really. The premises of both ARK and ATLAS are _amazing,_ but the execution is more than lacking. Had they been made by another studio, I'd be playing until the end of days.
So if this group is streaming this does that mean jurassic park is over?

Its time to play a heavily modded Conan Exiles I mean seriously, Age of Calamitous and other mods, would be a billion times funner all modded up. :)
