For all of the people in the comments saying you can't take these photos you probably can.
Step 1: if you don't have a pretty background just use a brick wall, a plain wall, or some place with nature/greenery
Step 2: you can wear any clothes you want if you don't have cute clothes don't show your body in the photo just show your face
Step 3: if you don't have someone to take photos for you just use the self timer on your phone/camera it might take longer to get the right photo but the self timer works and there you go

in case you're reading my comment i just want to remind you that we all have flaws and it's totally ok!!! YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL
Step 1- be pretty
Step 2- have a good camera
Step 3- have a tripod or a cameraman
Step 4- have nice clothes according with your fashion sense
Step 5- have a nice background
Step 6- remember the poses while actually clicking the photo and not pose like a potato
Well all the steps mentioned above refrain me from being a photogenic🙂
Step 1 :be confident
Step 2 : you can use your phone cam
Step 3 : you can also place your phone on a chair or a bench
Step 4 : even basics work fine
Step 5 : even a place wall works
Step 6 : pose however you are comfortable

My family especially the elders including my parents: Ugly! So ugly! You should've faced the camera and smile! You always took a picture of yourself so ugly, how would we recognize you if we can't even see your face on the picture?!?!
Me: B-but you all know I'm not photogenic and I feel embarrassed to post my pics smiling on the camera that's why mostly I took pics of me using filters.
Tbh they are making my confidence much more lesser. 😥 They could've understand it but they chose to be "traditional" or old fashioned. Even with filter and makeup, I'm still not confident. I feel so ugly on camera. My insecurities kept coming in because of them and it sucks. I wanna live my life where there's no one dictating me what I need to do and what I don't need to do.
Btw, we can do those pose then take a pic alone. Timer & tripod is the key. Or any comfortable and safe place where we can place our phone/camera, of course also consider the angles. But in my case, my family dislikes whenever I took photos of myself like that so yeah..

Honestly, "Beauty" isn't a fashion trend or can it possibly compare to standards because its way past those and holds so much more than you know. Get to know yourself and love yourself, don't you dare one day disrespect yourself because you're worth so much more and YOU need to see that. Not in shape is not an option, in the next ten years standards will change but standards shouldn't be you because you are your own standard. Only your views of you should matter of you so keep how you view yourself above those standards ok.
