at 2:48 when you cross multiply x*(3y-1) you give the solution as 3yx-3x, it should be 3yx-x and the final answer for the inverse function of F(x) becomes y=(x+5)/(3x-2)
This ..I thought I did wrong
correct
i got (-x-5)/(2-3x)
@@zalbesweaty7761 me too i think this is the right one...
@@zalbesweaty7761 well actually just multiply all with -

One Trillion times more helpful than any class material for college pre-calc. bless you, JG.
Bruh I'm a sophomore in high school and I have to learn this crap 😭
@@kit_kat0686i pray for you. i’m doing college pre calc, same as op and i cant fathom the chapter that deals with this. i’m also working with logarithmic and exponential functions which i am not a fan😤
Me rn but the class is online on edmentum 💀 I'm gonna be in 11th grade soon and I have no idea if I'll make it mentally. I hope everyone seeing this passes with flying colors, this is really complicated, so make sure to drink water and take notes
Thought I was buggin when I saw -3x 😂
Your solution in the second problem is wrong. You cross multiplied x by 3y-1 and your answer is 3yx-3x which is supposed to be 3yx-x
thank you. i paused for a second then decided to look at the comments.
Haley Kreger SAME!
Omg thanks for confirming I have a test in 5 mins and I thought I forgot how to cross multiply 😂
you're right i notice too lol
yeah i caught that too, thanks for the verification
Thank you so much, I have been struggling understanding my modules ever since school started this year. You have taught me more than my teachers and the endless modules they give.
I don’t have a group study nor a study lab, watching your videos and just staying repetitious helps a lot
So, tomorrow is my calculus quiz and I am studying today lol
Such a Great Teacher he is. May ALLAH bless you !
Thank you really. I plan to take accounting since I can't pursue Computer science for now. As a grade 11 student, this channel helped me a lot since grade 9. Thank you for helping me out through my hard times. I love your voice it's so calming
Thank you so much. I watched all your videos and I passed my finals. I just wanna congratulate you on a job well done
.thanks for everything you're doing even if u made a mistake but you're still the best sir
This teacher is amazing
yeah.,, I paused on the 2nd example at 2:50. must be 3yx-x.
But thanks anyway. still helps.
Yea
ya correct me confuse to
I was absolutely losing my fucking mind over that problem.
bro ty
U know whats the difference between khan academy and OCT?
Khan academy : Has humor
OCT : straight to the point
i honestly love you so much and i don't know where my grades or my academic success would be if it weren't for you
This was so much easier to grasp ! Thanks a lot!
My test is tomorrow and you make it so much better to understand it!! Thank you so much.
Hello Sir, your teaching techniques are same as my professor does in the class, so it makes me lots easier to understand, thank you!
This means that your professor learned from him 😂
@@valerylouis6747 I think so 🤔🤣🤣🤣!
Thank you so much, i know this probs means nothing but just know there are people out there that realy appreciate your help!
At 2:48 when you cross multiply x*(3y-1) it should be 3yx-x, instead of 3yx-3x, and the final answer for the inverse function of f(x) becomes y=(x+5)/(3x-2)
i cant believe vloggers get paid more than this guy. Legend 👍
12:50 you wrote (x-5) where it should be (x+5)
I saw this aswell yeah
Hello!!
Thank you so much for ur wonderful lessons.
Ur explanation makes our topics really easy
Hope you continue doing this 🙏
Great video, despite the tiny mistake. Final answer for second question is, y = x+5/3x-2
thank you so much for uploading this video sir. God bless you. Great job.
this guy take things nice and slow and thats perfect for me. Thanks bro
At 12:48, it should be ln(x+5).
ye
Thank you, this was very helpful!
This CZcams channel is my savior!😍😍😍
Thank you so much!!! This video helped me in the pandemic we are currently in
Best tutor in the whole world xx
This was great! It helped a lot thank you so much!!!
Very Good, The Organic Chemistry Tutor, Keep It Up!
I looked for many videos on inverse function but honestly this video was the best of all covering all the aspects of the inverse function. Thank you.
You're telling the truth.
i understand you more than my actual math teacher. i also got a different answer for the second problem, but i see what i did wrong... i think lol. thank you!!
the best videos that are ever uploaded in youtube tnx very much sir
We all make mistakes.. either way thanks. All of your videos are a huge help.
My love for this channel is more than my life 🤩🤩
thank you so much dude, you really are out here doing gods work.
You are a life savior
The comments confirmed I wasn't going insane lol. Anywho, thanks for all your vids! I'm a loyal sub 🦋
Thanks it was very useful for last minute revision
Sir plz upload vedio on combined functions logarithmic and trigonometric of this type how could we find domain and range of sin-1[ logx/3)]

Great explanation my friend you are great at teaching
thanks men you explain how can it be happen step by step and what do you do to get that.. nice bro keep it up
This really helped thank you sir
Thank you so much for this video!! You save my day !!

Thank you for your very helpful and insightful videos. For the equation at 1:54, I get y = x+5 over 3x-2.
Same.
Correct
Your solution for the second example was wrong. When you crossed multiplied x to 3y-1 you get 3xy-x, *not* 3xy-3x.
If you're reading this, no you're not seeing things XD
I thought i was incorrect. Thnx for clarifying.
OMG THANK YOU! for a minute i was like "I DONT KNOW ANYTHING ANYMORE!" LOL
yess! i tought i was wrong lol
so the answer is 5+x/3x-2?
i also noticed that lol
sometimes I think I´m stuck, because I don´t understand a problem, but then, thanks to your samples I can see the problems with "different eyes"
Though the answer was wrong for one of the problems, the concept was correct so I thank you for keeping this video uploaded. It definitely helped with my homework. @the organic chemistry tutor
Thankx man omg this video save my grade
I love your videos they are soo helpful!
Thank you po sir🤗❤ I always watch your video po❤
Very helpful!
Your videos are so satisfying 💗❣️
Thank you!
Thank you One million times.
Dude it really helps me..thanksss
Great 👍🏻 ... Thank you very much 😊
The final answer is x+5 divided by 3x-2
I'M CORRECT THENN!! THANK YOU SIR!
lol I felt pretty stupid wondering how he got 3x
You are marvelous!
As a college studdent, this is significantly more helpful than reading a required reading made up of 20 pages
College?i am learning this in 11th grade i swear
@@KaisbsAbahhs Yeah, its precalculus. Which you also have in College. Depends on ur country ig. Had it in 11th Grade, had it again in 1st year Uni.
Amazing and you solve it good
after you cross pultipled at 2: 58 , x * 3y -1 , should've been 3yx -1x, but you gave it 3yx -3x.
other wise i love your curses. thank yu so much
I like your math video they help alot❤
thank u so much :( in these time of the corona virus this is so helpful
very helpful video thanks :)
Really helpful
You are the GOAT
Just wondering, at about 12:45, why did ln(x+5) change to ln(x-5)?
OMG IT IS SO AWSOME...u know wt i just subscribed ur channel keep it up bro.... (but the 2nd e.g???)
Learned so much from you than my complicated Senior high teacher😒
Sammeeee
You're unique👏
you the man
i'm glad this exist ;-;
A question
The domain of the inverse function at 6:55 is said to be [ 0 , infinity ) but shouldnt it be ( - infinity , infinity ) ?
the function 1/2x^2 + 3 has no restrictions...
yes, x can be negative since it is raised by an even exponent.
Can u clarify it pls if you understand.... I am thinking of the same
You are right
Sir,is it still correct if at 3:14 the 3yx can be on the right side and it will be -3yx and then leaving the -3x on the right side and the 1 from the left will be -1 on the right? Is the function could still be correct? Cause I was confused you had a video of this before I watched it first before this but in this video it's differenct solution.Does that mean both are correct? I rewrite how you solved the equation and that's how you do it before
thank you
This helped me a ton, thanks!! There were many errors here and there, small ones, yes.. not only on the equations, and it'd cost a lot if that were done on a test. Nevertheless, the video was really helpful.
Thank you alot
I love you!
I think that's a minor mistake,, no one is perfect. Sir just continue, that's a great, KUDOS!!!!!!!!!!
you teach better than my teacher
وحق الله انت طركاعة (مبدع)
انا طالب كلية ولكن الدكتور لايشرح لنا هكذا انا من العراق

i thought the next would be, x(3y-1) = 2y+5 which you will be going to distribute or multiply the x to 3y-1 that will give you the answer of 3xy-x =2y+5.. dunno if thats correct tho.
How to find the inverse function of f(x) = x^3 - 2x? I had a question similar to this on a test and I was seemingly supposed to change the range and domain of the function to get a valid inverse function but idk how to do that
the third problen, why can't I cube the x and radical first before transposing 1 on both sides?
Yea after plugging in the real answer as f^-1 into f, I found the answer for #2 to be -x-5/-3x+2. When you check this against the f(x), you do get x so that will be your one-to-one.
At 12:47, shouldn't it be x + 5 instead of x - 5?
At 5:35, does not > changes into < and equal to 6? since it was -6 on left side.
Ty
EGD.formulario(65/99/7-6). drk non riconosciuto. in RSDA in 315_55_4(8)+8. riconosciuto RFF.
In 2:54 why did you distribute the X to make it -3x. In other words what rule were you using because I can't remember how we come to distribute this that it becomes 3x.
I'm sorry please check your signs on the natural log equation, you switch addition with subtraction.
6:14 if you want to get the domain easily just used this
Equal it to 0:. 2x-6=0
Transposed: 2x=0+6
Divided it. 2x=6
-----. ------
2. 2
The domain is (3)
