I might have guesss to what happen Félix was previous cat holder before a inccident happen and he gave up his miraculous and that's not Adrien Father because adrien didn't exist so it could be Félix father that passed away may be due to conquence to make a wish to make his wake up Which all know is Amily Adrien Aunt and Emily twin sister and im not sure the show never release and this is my speculation on what happen and why félix was the oringinal holder
