  • Hello. It was about time for a new Tutorial from me - i think ;-) So today i want to have a look at how we can create some classic Dub Techno Chords with the Elektron Digitakt - using only the stock Samples it comes shipped with! In particular im using the Single Cycle Waveforms which can be found in the Toolbox Directory.
    There are much more of these Single Cycle Waveforms available on the Internet. The most known Collection is probably the one created from Adventure Kid (AKWF Waveforms). You can find this huge collection of Single Cycle Waveforms here:
    www.adventurek...

    Super Tutorial. Kannst du nicht auch welche in Deutsch machen ? Hab versucht das in etwa nachzubasteln was mir auch einigermassen als blutiger Anfänger auch gelungen ist...immer Pause und die Einstellungen gemacht um alles nachzuvollziehen. Es gibt ja 1000 gute Tutorials in Englisch aber leider nur sehr wenige bis gar keine in Deutsch auf CZcams.

    • @umonox
      @umonox  Před 4 lety

      Hi. Das liegt daran, dass Englisch fast die ganze Welt versteht; Deutsch aber nur ein winzig kleiner Teil davon ;-) Wäre blöd, wenn ich 90 % der Erdbevölkerung meine Tipps vorenthalte, oder? Deshalb: Wird nix in Deutsch von mir geben - auch wenn ich aus DE komme ;-) Sorry. Hoffe, du kannst trotzdem ein bischen was aus den Videos mitnehmen. Grüße

  • @claytonlevibrown
    @claytonlevibrown Před 7 lety +2

    this is dope huh. I'm wondering if it would be worth it to waste all the time recording samples or transporting samples into the machine instead of working with the instruments themselves.

    • @umonox
      @umonox  Před 7 lety +2

      depends. creating the Chords on the Digi itself has advantages: You can exchange Waveforms on a per Note Level and if you spend a lot of time with this you can come up with Sounds an ordinary Synthesizer cannot deliver ;-) Its like having a Wavetable Synth built into the Digitakt, you know. If you dont have time though - its obviously better to hook up a real Polysynth and play the Chords in directly.

    • @claytonlevibrown
      @claytonlevibrown Před 7 lety

      Yeah, it's tough to make the decision on whether I want to buy it. I'll probably have the time.

    • @umonox
      @umonox  Před 7 lety +3

      just get it and if you're not satisfied - return it within your grace period. im creating a whole "how to make a full track on the Digitakt" Series of Videos right now. Going through the Process from Start to finish. Maybe this can help you getting started with this little beast. Just check them out - they are coming online every 2 to 3 days now. The first one is already online. Cheers
