AI is Artificial for a reason. Large Language models are just strings of code that scrape data from various sources. These sources are guessed from an algorithm, not some embedded sense of "emotion" or "creativity" in these AIs. Until the day comes that we reach The Singularity, creativity will never exist in AI and even then, creativity will be hard to extract.
AI creativity is not based upon that of the human consciousness nor imagination. It combines scraped data in a unique way. Period.
From the other side of the fence, however, for novel writers who like to use plot prompting AI comes in handy to generate small starter scenarios.

But it's okay for celebs to get ghost writers to wirite their books for em. The problem is as always not what you do, its the way that you do it. Always that is true. It's a tool than many abuse to make or try to make easy money. A typewriter does the typing for you but you must do the typing? What if you had to set each block with a stamped letter on it and dip it in ink and place it besides other blocks to string together a book? Is doing that cheating also, you didnt create the block?
What about travel, should we stop driving cars because we are not the car, we can walk much better than cars can? Using AI is the same as in all areas of life. Joe Blogs runs some kids over at 50mph on a 40mph road and then we all have to suffer 30 pmh limits and speedbumps in the road.
The many suffer because the unscrupulously selfish ones abuse a car, a typwriter or AI. And everyone else suffers. In short, the fault isnt the tool, the AI, the typwriter, the typset blocks or the car. It's the unscrupulous (or not) mind behind the wheel.
I spent the whole day today creating a great little software/website using chatgpt, should I dump it because someone else thinks that because I'm not a developer I should not have the ability to create an app? Should they (the developers) stop being developers and selling their wares because they use word documents and other TOOLS to create websites and such. I don't abuse anything so I will do what I darn well please. Sorry. Not really, but you get the meaning.
As I said, its not what you do, its the way that you do it. ALWAYS!
