My mother-in-law bought me the fuzzy Birkenstocks last year. I love, love, love them! So comfy and they keep your feet amazingly warm. Definitely worth the investment.

Question: what happens to the sweater when you wash it? If it’s snagging in the laundry, then it needs a delicate wash cycle and it needs to go in either a large pillowcase that you tie a knot in the end or a laundry bag of some type. If it’s shrinking in the laundry, then it needs to be hand washed or just soaked in cold water with a gentle soap, rinsed, squeezed out by hand or spun out in the laundry machine in a laundry bag, and laid out to dry. There are gentle soaps that don’t need to be rinsed out (Soak is one brand). To avoid shrinking in woolen items, avoid warm water with soap and any agitation and definitely avoid putting woolens in the dryer. Lay them out on a towel or on a drying rack to dry. I knit socks and sweaters and have learned that wool will felt and shrink with any kind of soap, heat and movement as well as in the dryer. Good luck!

Great video! Here’s a hack. Walmart, yes really Walmart, sells an almost identical barefoot dreams blanket. Another CZcamsr mentioned it last year…it is lovely! The bookshelf games are also available at places like Marshall’s. I bought one last night as a gift (Scrabble) for $24.

I've seen a lot of the board game books at TJ Maxx and Home Goods, so if you are on a tighter budget but like that gift idea, check there first!

A laundry tip: all vintage, wool and soft material clothes get washed on wool program and with fine wash laundry detergent here.
