The last minute and a half is what sets Feed Me a step above the average. Most producers would have faded out and called it a day after the last chorus, not this lad. One last gut punch beautiful melody and vocal layer that makes the conclusion to an already outstanding song just that much better.

Have you ever listened to tech house before?
There is literally a switch in each of the three build ups... there is some Trance characteristics on the percussions leading to the second drop with a lot of tension that Jon nailed giving heaviness to it, a Techy vibe on the second drop too with the lead bassline being reused differently and changing along with a lot of compression the more it grows, with it he added a loud horn that gives a huge impact coupled with it with hi hats in between each kick just like techno music, the main melody is a progressive house-ish build up, and a complete BPM switch on the last build up to get back to 128 BPM but halftime outro dropping...
And you say it’s too repetitive what the actual fuck are you sniffing ?

Its just the same beat over and over and over, its not the same Feed Me as it used to be, it used to be very melodic beat that give you shivers, how cant you see that?

Chain Smoker has a monotone vibe in its drop, Trichitillomania too, Wuzzle too, Talk to Me as well.
This track is melodic more than many of the tracks you think of, you are disappointed no need to write a drama with that whole « that was good before » shit bruh.
If you want that outro vibe go listening to some Porter Robinson.
