Couldn’t agree more, as a parent I have heard and overheard some parents who are completely delusional about their kids abilities. It’s hard to bite your tongue, you want to ask “have you been watching the same games I have?” Or did you not notice Johnny’s three errors in the last two innings?

Yeah....rose-colored glasses to put it lightly. I'm not yet a parent, so I lack the perspective, but there are certainly plenty of parents like yourself who are objective, so I guess I can't give them all a pass because of the love for their child. So many people just don't understand the standards of "good at baseball."
