      Bunogi you need to know how to solve a 3x3 in order to solve a 4x4. The 3x3 part is after all of the centers match the color scheme and the edges are paired correctly like on a 3x3. So you know how to solve a 3x3.

    “The problems of puzzles are very near the problems of life, our whole life is solving puzzles. If you are hungry, you have to find something to eat. But everyday problems are very mixed - they're not clear. The Cube's problem depends just on you. You can solve it independently. But to find happiness in life, you're not independent. That's the only big difference.”

    • @kajoel
      @kajoel Před 9 lety +1

      Yes, it was. Knowledge is required but can be gained if you lack it (even without internet or tutorials). If one finds it hard to solve a puzzle with nothing but luck one should grab a pen and a piece of paper to write things down on, try to do some moves that does not change to much, take notes about what it did change and then think of how one could use it to solve the puzzle. This was how i developed my own method for Square-1 (which doesn't have very much in common with a ordinary 3x3)

My mains are: fancy xingyu for 2x2, moyu hualong for 3x3, yuxin for 4x4, moyu huachuang for 5x5, and 6x6 and 7x7 I never competed with. I haven't competed for 5x5 either, but I will next competition.

      to solve a 3x3 you really only need less than an hour to teach yourself through videos how to actually solve it and go from there both these guys have had years of practice to get to where they are. If you dedicate yourself to solving a 3x3 you can get to under 30 seconds in 1-2 months and from there you can get faster
