Imagine if axl sang this song with his 90s voice... five o clock somewhere (name of this album) is filled with songs that slash made and were supposed to be recorded by gnr. Unfortunately, he quit the band and then released his work solo
I think it is good that he quit GnR. It destroyed him and what axls vision was for the band... well, we can see that in Chinese Democracy and Absurd. They completely evolved into different styles of music and we have to accept that. Worse would have been, if they went with axls vision and Slash would have been swallowed by the company GnR became. So at least we have him touring with the conspirators, giving us Slash songs :D
His motivation is very well described in his autobiography. And the book is absolutely worth reading.
Musically it is sad of cause, that GnR only made these 3 really good albums and that was it.

He made a killer Album every few years with Miles and the comspirators, although I am not the biggest Fan of "4"
Since he is with Guns n Roses again, they made one Song, that apparently is a chinese democracy demo and lets say, it sounds like it.
I mean, it is his decision 100%, but GnR is dead for me. I was at one concert, which was enough for me and was a year prior or later, I can't recall currently on a Miles and Slash concert, which was in a whole other league of energy, fun and musicians enjoyment. GnR felt, at least back then, completely soulless, like everyone was on stage because they got payed huge amounts of money, not because they actually want to be there.
Slash solo? Always. GnR? Never again.

Hey niko i just got the slash november burst gibson les paul have you had the chance to try one out? The pickups are called slash buckers they sound crunchy but not as bluesy as the slash alnico 2s i dont understand why gibson made the guitars without them anyway i was just wondered your feelings on the new line!!
