Please make sure to check out the UPDATED LIST at the end of the video in the description!! How would you play Vader Green??
Has my email information come through on the other video?😊
@@BDB-cs1py No what is it?
That Dragon is nasty... will be meta warping for sure. you need a quick answer otherwise it EATS units.
Yeah absolutely. Rukh is very good in Vader for dealing with it. I think Rukh's value goes up a lot in this set in ECL decks especially because of the ability to put the shield on first before ambushing so that it stays alive.
Control decks will obviously have good answers for the dragon, but will get ran over by some of these aggro decks
Rukh is your answer to Krayt Dragon.
Yep! Talked about Rukh at the end of the video and how he is a great answer for alot of the strong ground units from set 2 including Krayt Dragon. He is in the final list in the description below
Damn , this is pretty sick ~~😮
Appreciate it!
This is a good start of the list. I might play it faster and with probably bossk instead of vader
Another nasty one!
Thanks!
the easiest way to counter this han deck is Palp yellow.
Yeah Palp Yellow is disgusting, and is one of the toughest matchups for a deck like that. But every deck has weaknesses right?
Control decks have the best chance against it, at least from my testing.
Yeah agreed. This is why 3x Relentless is so important to protect the Dragon, and to force your opponent to have to play "2 events" to remove it
if you want a monster to ECL, go for Kylo unit.
Thought about that for sure. Ended up with Rukh which I talk about the reasoning at the end of the video. Rukh makes so much sense right now as a way to kill a lot of these big threats instantly, and the fact that you can put a shield on it before you kill the unit so that it stays alive is awesome.
@@SWUDAD saw that - Rukh stocks definitely going up in a Krayt dragon world lol
@@raynerpel1921 true that lol
think 30hp base will still be the play going forward only new card that likes ecl is jango but i could be wrong how good has ecl been in testing ?
I talk about this at the very end of the video. But I think because of how prevalent Krayt Dragon is going to be, Rukh is going to be a very good way to deal with that card for this deck. Especially with ambush from both ECL and Timely intervention. The ability to put the shield on first to keep Rukh alive, or to put the shield on afterwards for smaller units that it removes is very strong.
In testing thus far ECL vs 30 hp has made much of a difference at all. Obviously, aggro decks are the concern, but so far has not been an issue. Timely intervention really helps as a consistent way to remove threats.
So currently Rukh is the reason that currently I am leaning towards ECL. It also really helps against the aggro decks to deal with Poe and Wrecker (Shield itself first and stay alive while taking those units out)
@@SWUDAD rukh defenatly sounds a lot better with Timely Intervention
Can you deal damage from Krayt dragon's ability to the unit that was played?
Yes if it's a ground unit
@SWUDAD Also, how does ambushing Rukh in with timely work when stacking the triggers? 1 damage is distributed from timely, then Rukh enters and 5 damage can be dealt, or does shielded trigger before the 5 damage?
@@paperbeater8938 you can put the shield on before or afterwards with Ambush. I believe how it works is that you have to put the shield on first, and than Krayt Dragon does its 1 damage to take off the shield. So Rukh will trade with the Dragon which is still worth it
no ruthless raider?
Definitely a sideboard option for me against control. You could drop a "Relentless", and 1 Yularen in the sideboard, but I feel like Relentless is about to be super important because of all the removal that control just got, and to protect krayt dragon
26:15 you cant play Chewbacca with home one???
Yeah at 10 resources he can.
Home One allows you to play units for “3 less” the cost. Very good card as the game goes on
Krayt dragon is an anti fun card. Stupid ability, easy to get out, deal damage even If it is removed, has overwhelm for some reason, isn’t unique
Blue and Green control Decks should have less of a problem with it. Aggro Decks still can be too fast for him and have the space and enough life to finish. Yellow especially boba and/or Decks with cunning should be fine.
Its strong and decks/Meta has to adjust to it but it not unbeatable
It's the new hotness, it will settle.
Play Palpatine. Then you just ping it and steal it.
