I've never wondered what Ward could mean. It meaning Guard reminds me of the german translated games of STALKER in which the duty faction is translated to be called 'Wächter', which translated back to english is literally Guard(ian).

I believe Stranger is Veniamin “Venya” Alekseenko from the ARG, the one who supposedly went missing. My guess is he’s the head/an important figure in Problesk, the new shadowy faction from the ARG which opposes SIRCAA/NIICHAZ. My personal theory as to his role is that he could act as a parallel to Dalin considering they both have their own brand of unhinged ranting (I’m more swayed by Stranger since he’s hotter tbh)
Hoping this game gets released on ps5 as the developer deserves more revenue from this game to get motivated and compensated for all their effort. Limiting to xbox microsoft and pc is not going to maximize the sale as most people will play for free on game-pass and on pc pirated
I really hope we find out what happened to Duty & Freedom. And I know it's a dead horse by now, but something to tie up the renegades & clear sky would be quaint too. Even if it was just environmental stuff with dead bodies hinting at some kind of faction war, gimmie something... Ah well, afaik they'll make a return in the new game, who knows.

As a Ukrainian, I’ll say that I’m proud that stalker are in demand in Western countries. Russians always say that stalker are of no interest to anyone in the West, but videos like this one prove that stalker have a huge community
What is even cooler is that eventually, games and products will come from our country that we can be proud of! GSC knows that not only their profits are on the line, it is also their country and perception of it too, so I have hope man.

I think stalker 2 has similar graphics and cutscenes like metro and that it has lost it'd ''stalker vibe'' and has replaced it with more similarities with metro then stalker.
Great video but I felt cringe more than anything else with the trailer and the dialogue, it looks like stalker but doesnt feel like stalker. Anomaly or gamma are sequels enough, besides those two mods look waaay better
Its like they are desperately trying to appeal to the Western fandom that formed around Tarkov, Anomaly and Gamma instead of doing their own thing. I am unsure how the game will turn out, but I doubt it will be as good as the original trilogy.
