@@Wolkentoetje1991 yeah. They have the technology to expand on so much in Tomb Raider and hardly any challenging games like Tomb Raider are made popular
The only credible reason why Set couldnt be gunned down is because he is an Egyptian god and it wouldnt make any sense for him to be vulnerable to a pair of pistols.
Lightman 2120 Cleopatra was Greek too even though she was queen of Egypt. Tomb Raider IV lets Lara explore ancient Egypt (the time of pharaohs and pyramids), Egypt under Antiquity (Ptolemaic dynasty where Alexandria was capital) and Medieval Egypt (under the Knights Templar). Since these harpies appear in Cleopatra's palace(?) it makes sense it's full of creatures from Greek mythology. Minotaurs are from Greek mythology too as the creature was found on the Greek island of Minos (taur meaning bull). At the time of the Ptolemaic Kingdom (305 - 30 BC) the old pharaohs were long gone (Old Kingdom roughly 2500-2000 BC) and Egypt was arguably Greek in culture - well, most of Antiquity was. The Romans just renamed the Greek gods and gave them Roman names and believed it was "their" culture. Egypt has gone through quite a few time periods where they had different rulers and empires all of which were unique in their own way. In the game they took pieces here and there depending on the location Lara is in. One thing is certain though. Ancient cultures influenced each other and left a heritage the next culture took over. The ancient Greeks claim they invented the Pythagorean Theorem. Egyptologists and historians have discovered that the ancient Egyptians were aware of this since a mathematic formula identical to it is found in the "Berlin Papyrus 6619" which was written some 1200-1500 years before Pythagoras the ancient Greek mathematician. Since we know relatively little about ancient Egypt (most written accounts are forever lost to time) we can't really tell how much of an influence they were to the ancient Greeks but it's fair to say quite significant. So, the "Harpies" might very well have been Egyptian mythological creatures before the Greeks "rediscovered" them. We may never know.
They should remake the original Tomb Raiders. Their levels and puzzles were interesting and fun to do also challenging
Just pray they will do during the 25 anniversary this year. 😳😅

If they want to remake they should make it better or what's the point of a remake
And they should remake the entire Tomb Raider original series.
@@skypemee4040 that’s the point of remakes. To bring back and also expand the original further especially with what today’s technology has to offer
Toll! Der 4. Tomb Raider Teil war schon immer mein favorit. Die guten alten Zeiten....
"Small scorpions"
I remember playing this game so much as a kid but now I realise I never got much further than the wild boars

@@McLarenMercedes cool. The developers and staff of the game really did their history on the historical lore of what Lara explored

Big downgrade in enemies
I defeated the boss rider logically today, he was easier to hit with pistols than with a rifle.
