designer approved ruggable rugs

Are you considering buying a washable Ruggable rug & need a designer's opinion? Look no further. Here are my thoughts on Ruggable's entire 9x12 selection (or at least those that were good enough to take a second look at lol).

Note: I don't have the official training or test results to legally be considered an interior designer (the type of person who usually works alongside contractors on full renovations), but I did study study art & design, and have done various freelance design work over the past two decades, and have always considered myself someone creative who loves intentional design on all levels. I have conflicting feelings about identifying as an "artist" or a "designer," although that's mostly semantic & philosophical (maybe I'll make a separate video about that at some point), so for now, I use the term designer, because my goal is to help others create a home that works for them, rather than against them.

I have two Ruggable runners in my hallway (one of which, a Jonathan Adler one, I actually found second hand but unused) and I really love the patterns and the convenience, but if I didn't have an incontinent elderly dog I would go for vintage rugs, especially for bigger rugs where the Ruggables are pretty expensive. Back when I bought mine they only had the thin ones, which really don't feel all that ruggy. If you need washable they are brilliant, though, as they wash very well and dry quickly.
