Without Dennis Tutty the professionalisms we see today probably would not have happened. In my opinion as a former official of the game there should be an annual Dennis Tutty award. The players can select the criteria of how it is awarded on an annual basis . Dennis Tuttys courage in the face of adversity should be ever immortalised.

Well done Denis Tutty. We had a similar man in NZ Rugby Union by the name of Andy Haden , back in the 1980's who was outspoken and changed the thought process of the amateur game. Use to be in continuous trouble with the Rugby Board for his challenging views. Achieved a lot in changing the mind set of those old pricks at the top. Even got the players wive's and partners to join in at the after match functions . The NZ Rugby Union was simply prehistoric and low IQ during those times.
All professional sport people (across the globe) owe it to Dennis Tutty.

In the early to mid 90s the winfield cup blew up, so at the time it probably was.
