Lmao. My first real RC was a Fireteam. Picked it up black friday of 2022 for $399. Since then I've bought over a dozen more including 2 8s exb Outcast, Infraction, SBR 2.0, SCX6, Xmaxx and several smaller 6s and 4s Arrma rigs. I also had a few of the Tyco Fast traxx as a kid. My favorite was the little black truck, the Bandit. I do love large scale rigs but have got to enjoy smaller ones since getting the 4s Mojave and a Gorgon. Just ordered a V2.5 Outcast a few minutes ago. I have almost ordered that orange Felony a dozen times the last couple months. Amazon has had it marked down as low as $549 recently. Only reason i haven't is I'm expecting Arrma to drop a new or new version all road car soon. That and a 6s exb Outcast should be next if they keep pace with all the new releases. This car is so fun! Its are to find a smooth open place to run it fast, but it's a blast in a parking lot!
So in the beginning of the year I too decided to get one of these along with a kraton ...
My advice owning these for a year now ...
Get a metal centre diff ..
Get thicker front and rear diff oils helps with more even tyre ware ....
Also try adjust your breaks to just before they lock up ... flat spots are a real thing...
I've left the suspension stock .... but I have tightened up the shocks front and rear .. really helps with high speed cavitation and keeps the chassis off the floor ... obviously you will have to lower the ride height ...
This thing is pretty invincible ... mostly just changing tyres to be honest...
I've just installed a mamaba monster x 8s in it now ... its so much smoother .... altho Motor leads keep melting off ....
I'm looking at getting a 1717 1650 castles sensored motor...
Thanks for all the tips. I did tighten the suspension and lower as well and found it to be much better handling, at least where I run it. I made a splitter and side skirts out of G10 (I made some videos on that).
I definitely want to swap to 8s. I have the Kraton and Outcast 8s, so I want to upgrade one of those to a 2028 and xlx2 and then put the stock system in the Felony. It's lower kv so it will take some gearing, but I want more efficiency than top end speed. It gets hot fast on the 6s set up.

Hey buddy, nice choice of colour. I'm in the UK and did consider the inner fenders from Scorched for my Felony, but I've heard a lot of people say that the motor (and esc) temperature will shoot up due to the air flow restriction. I guess you could add vents etc to direct air flow onto the motor etc, I may go this route depending on if I have heat issues.
Hey, thanks for the feedback. Yea, I would definitely give them a try but ordering overseas would probably cost quite a bit. Those motor and esc to get hot already so that would not be good. As long as the pavements is decent the stones are not too much of an issue.

Yeah, I quickly changed my ESC brakes to 100%. Dangerous from the factory
Even more so if you swap out the pinion gear.

Great video, how have stock electronics been treating you after these past few months?
I live in Buffalo, NY so it hasn't seen any pavement lately. But when I was using it regularly, they get hot. With the 27t pinion you need to let it cool down after each pass or two or it overheats. I am going to swap it out to the 8s system from the Kraton when I upgrade that, most likely in the spring.
@@mzgarage I'll be setting the punch up to 9 but also lower the motor timing which should help with temps. I also have two 3s gens ace bashing 120c 6800 mah lipos. Think this should be all good with the Felony?

How do I set the throttle for drag racing the 6-10 ft it just smoke the tries?
I do not believe there is a setting for that.
Your car came with 17t cause mine came with 15t and how do you turn off tracsion
If I remember correctly it came with a 17t and 26t. You can dissable the AVA by the way you bind it. I can't remember the process since it been a few months but its in the manual. If you are using the stock radio (DX3) you can turn down the avc dial.
So you upgraded the esc to 12s
No, stock esc. I am running the packs in parallel.
If I'm not mistaken you're running on 12s you have two 6s batteries hooked up
That is a common mix-up. You can run them in series (12s) double the voltage or parallel (6s) with double the capacity. I am running them in parallel. There are not many surface escs and motors rated for 12s unfortunately. I believe Hobbywing does make a 12s set up.
