This is Pre Vestax, Pre DVS and we kept the footage relatively untouched to preserve the time period. This is a lost tape but an epic one. This is before Invisible Skratch Piklz, Vestax was conceived and before folks moved on to do legendary performances and win legendary DJ titles. This is Eddie Mariano- Edmarz 1st promotion. One of my favorite things to do is watch old school DJ battle videos. I know we’ve come a long way from those days, in terms of skills and technology. But, what the past shows me, is that the lack of technology always promotes creativity. These guys had to deal with skipping records and fewer DJ friendly records that they had to work with. Thank you for uploading these histories of DJ moments 🙏🏼
