- James Duggar comes to town and the boys help him unload his trailer. Mama B drops by to teach us another simple dinner meal. We had so much fun having some friends and family over for dinner.

My mom makes beef roast almost the same way, except she puts a packet of onion soup mix &/or a packet of mushroom gravy mix in the crockpot with it. That's comfort food to me. Your Mom needn't ever worry about being seen without her makeup on. She has always had this radiant glow about her. Without a doubt, it's God's love shining through her. I noticed it the very first time I saw your family on film. Makeup or no makeup, she's always so beautiful. Anyone can put on makeup, but not everyone has that glow about them. My mother has it. My great-grandmother had it. It skipped me & my grandma, lol. We're duds

I just adore Kelly. I admire how involved she is with all her children and grandchildren. She is literally everywhere, every milestone, every birth, gender reveals, home renovations, etc. I can barely keep up my 2 children and 1 granddaughter.

Mama Bates you are so beautiful inside and out!! I think it’s so sweet you’re helping Trace and Lydia with cooking. They should write down each recipe and put them in a book so they will have them for later. Another way to do a roast is in the oven in a bag with seasoning and potatoes and carrots. That is one of our favorite meals as a family. I’m not the best cook so when you find a good recipe make sure you hold onto it. 😊 I hope you all have a great time in your trip!! ❤

Of course, Lydia likes her Nutella, she is German. I also love my Nutella and I am from the Netherlands. I have eaten Nutella since my childhood, and I am now 72 years old and still love Nutella. Before Nutella was found in the United States we had to go up to Canada to buy it. ❤❤❤❤❤ NUTELA ❤❤❤❤❤

I like cooking roast in a crockpot! I use the pot roast seasoning packs! I put half of a garlic cloves in the meat all over! I also do carrots celery and onions and a few potatoes with the roast! I use chuck roast!

I think the consensus is...Kelly is amazing. I was so excited to hear she loves train rides, I do too. You get to see so much. Kelly needs to start her own CZcams channel for cooking. I didn't know about the less fat on round roasts, every roast I've made come out dry. I'm going to grab a roast at the grocery today and try it with beef broth. And if Kelly is reading this you looked gorgeous! You look great without makeup!

A train ride!!! I got my mom and dad a train ride from the PNW to Mississippi for their 40th wedding anniversary, they always talked about how much fun they had, they loved it so much.. Such a great gift to give Mr. & Mrs. Bates..

I Love German Food! I have lived in Germany 3 times. 1969-1972 in Kitzigen. when my Dad was in the Army. Then when I got Married my Husband was in the Military. We were Stationed in Bad Kissigen 1986-1989. Our Youngest Son was born there. Then we went back again in 1996-1997 in Bamburg, 1997-1999 in Schweinfurt.
