So happy to see you back to work/fun with dogs 🐶. I am trying to groom my Samoyed “Gimli” but I am not trained and I can’t find anyone who does a good job. Any help is appreciated ❤️
All a Samoyed needs is constant brushing. Maybe a sanitary (under the tail and privates) and a foot trim. But cutting their hair is a no no. The brushing is no easy feat - they need to be brushed every day with the proper tools (slicker comb and undercoat rake).

I must say, I appreciate your creativity but for me personaly I am already happy with dog grooming videos and your comments ;D every dog is different and they are all so cute :) I also quite like one other grooming channel where she just talks about grooming and she just reached over 300K follower I think. So there is definatelly a market for these videos out there :) I mean, who does not want to watch a cute littlebig dog get a makeover? ;D

I used to cut my cats' claws all the time...and sometimes if they fidget, you accidentally cut down to the quick. It happens, so if anybody here throws a hissy fit, back off.
People here are awesome and pretty understanding. :) I like sharing my mistakes so people can see it's not the end of the world or intentional. When I worked at Petco & Petsmart people would watch through the window... and if a mistake happened they would FLIP ThE FRICK OUt! So I'm glad to be here to educate. :) :) :) Thanks for being here!!

the intro is cute! I love the music. I think it would be better if it were a touch shorter, closer to 5-10 seconds. maybe see if you can get a quick little custom animation or something to go along with it? that could be cute. and this is more personal preference, but I think some lighter/brighter colors (less black) would fit the ~vibe~ of the channel better 😁💞

I've accidentally trimmed my dog's nails too short. I felt so bad. 😔 He was okay of course, but now I make to sure to be 300% more careful. 😤
I would say trimming nails is probably the most difficult thing to get comfortable with. When pet parents are discouraged I remind them, you’re trimming 16 toe nails 2-3 times per year. We are trimming 16 toenails 5-10 times a day 5 days a week. So we get a little practice lol

It looked like the dog licked some of the stiptic. My dog did that and I made sure to squeeze some water over her tongue. I can see where a restraining loop would help prevent that possibility.
Would using a grinder be a better option for such a reactive doggo?
If only. She is even worse with the grinder. Since she likes to bite tools I would hate for her to bite the sander.

Poor dog must have had some tough times in her past. Very rarely have I seen a dog tuck their tail like that.

How do you wash a dog's face?
I use a tear free shampoo and a light stream of water. I usually wash the face first so I don’t get the normal shampoo in their eyes. I’ll make a video soon :)
